Hello everyone and welcome back to my channel for a special interview with Hot Toys Blogger Alex Brooks or bj_toyart. He has been a Hot Toys Blogger since 2016 and is credited so many amazing Hot Toys photos we see all over social media. Please enjoy this one on one interview as we discuss how he got into toy photography, working for Hot Toys, and much more! Alex took many of the blogger photos of the 1989 Batman and address some concerns collectors had including give me a photoshop demonstration of how he edited the photos!

As a collector from the age of 8, now at 46 this dudes has to have the best job ever. To play with different scales of toy/figures and getting paid for it!!!! Lucky bastard😂😎😎🦇🦇🍻🔥🔥

Love this type of content! Awesome dude! Wild that he is not getting paid. I get that it’s a hobby and he gets to keep the figure, but the value that he is bringing to the company far outweighs the price of the figure. At least that’s what I believe. Would love to hear from other creators in the industry as well. 👏

It’s actually not fair for him not to be paid and just keep the figure. He should keep the figure and also be paid. He is putting days of work to produce these photos. Great interview

Great Video! You keep setting yourself apart from the pack. It gets tiring seeing the same interviews and questions regurgitated by the talking heads. Keep it up brother… and I freakin loved Alex’s Batman photos they were fire 🔥

I have some similar techniques he uses. As a amateur photographer and person who shoots videos having a full time job & having family also. I can safely & honestly say, even a free figure is not enough of a payment for all the hours it takes to do this stuff.
