Great video, as usual. Always great to see your boys fishing with you . How do you determine where to fish . I have fished the RR Trussell/bridge at Morehead several times. Some of the same spots you have fished on you videos The only thing I’ve been catching oyster toads and small black Seabass. I’ve used sand, fleas, fiddler, crabs, mud crabs, and sea urchins and blue crabs . Any help would be greatly appreciated. I Always enjoying the videos.
I paddled out and parked behind the AB Causeway cattle chute and bridge piling at high tide on my kayak this week. NOT safe! G’dang! You were right - AB bridge is dangerous near the deep water. 50’+ fishing boat came through on a full plane. I thought I was going to get flipped and rolled- right through the cattle chute. If I went in, I was going to be banged out against structure. Pucker moment! Morehead/Beaufort bridge is WAY safer for kayaks -. Now I need to learn how far the tides lag behind the forecasts. Seems like 1-2 hours at most locations….
