Beautiful result Andrew this body style is so iconic in automotive history, I would think it’s one that would be recognized in all corners of the planet. Enjoy your week ✌️👍👊
🧊🧊🧊🧊 the simplicity of the paint and detailing brought out the beauty of the original casting! The Flying Colors looked fabulous in their day, but the look hasn’t aged well, yours is timeless. Amazing as always. In my book, a “Shoulda”. Thanks for posting this!
This is another facet of your extensive repertoire, Andrew. Clean reproductions showcase a different level of expertise and you executed again. I absolutely love this one.
Nice repair, Andrew..... You can't even see the bendy bits! Lovely colour too. I needed that one to warm down after one of 'those' shifts at work. Thank you! 👌🏻🇨🇦👏🏻🇬🇧👍🏻🇨🇭
Thanks, Jack. I always look forward to hearing from you, but often feel guilty that you're working so hard while I sit here in early retirement! We both need a good dose of Hot Wheels restorations to get by! 🍁☕️😉
Among the current releases of this casting from MATTEL/HW is exactly that paint scheme. You get more points for a little detailing. My favorite moment in this video is very "Murray Walker" (There is nothing wrong with that car except that it is on fire.) Re: the windshield/interior piece. "There's only one way to fit this in. I just need to figure out what that is." Spoken like a true hobbyist! God bless you, your ministry and your family! Have fun with your toys!
Great video Andrew, awesome restoration on the 911, a true classic! Football season starts today, so we begin the emotional roller coaster of seeing what our teams do to us this year! Lll! I wouldn’t miss it for the world. 🏉🏉
Thanks, Jeff. Yes, we're kicking off a new season. I'll be in Toronto in October, so I checked on Bills' tickets. $400 each. So close and yet so far! 🍁☕️🏈
Beautiful work Andrew! I love that you chose Mexico Blue for the color - whenever I've seen an actual Porsche in the color, it's always caught my eye. About never seeing an actual Porsche with the tampo colors that Hot Wheels had used, that's something we should be thankful for every day lol
@@MapleLeafCustoms shhhhhhhhh please don't mention pink windshields out loud Andrew lol. I'm not sure if you're away of the Mary Kay beauty consultants cars - here in the states you'll see one every now and again, typically a pink Cadillac. While being God awful in appearance already, they probably haven't tinted the windshields pink only because they haven't thought of it.
lovely, love the colour. :) but then again some say Porsche has the fastest colours around, anyway. :) another idea would have been a b&b tuned 911, but wrapping their trademark stripes around the body would have been a real challenge. :)
Salut maple. Yes , vachement plus classe , j adore . Elle me fait penser a la 911 qu hot wheels à fait dans la version fast and furious. Bravo, superbe boulot. Je kiffe le blister personnalisé. C est excellent. 🤙😉
Thanks, Leo. The bullet shaped attachments came in a large bag I ordered on Amazon, coming from China. They weren't separate orders. Just a bunch of the steel and brass disc shaped ones mixed in with a dozen of these. They outlast the others 10:1 and they don't throw bristles everywhere. 🍁☕
Finally had some time to watch a few of your videos Andrew… liked them all so far. As far as I know the four horsemen challenge coming up for the Tow truck, I made a few already these past few months, can I use the old pictures or do I have to make a new tow truck ???? I tried to send in a a 6X9 photo but it came back as “couldn’t send”
Thanks, Lindsay! Yes, it's a tow truck theme in September. Send one of your 16X9 pics to fourhorsemendiecast@gmail.com for the recap video. A recent one is OK. Love your builds! 🍁☕️
