I remember playing Hot Wheels Velocity X on the GameCube. There was actually a story mode for that game. The main villain stole and modified a Hot Wheels Prototype for Time Travel. He planned to use this Time Travel to...stop the creation of said Prototype. But credit where credit is due, the sheer stupidity of that time travel plot hole has basically made me immune to all confusion in other works featuring Time Travel. My point is, Unleashed not having that story mode makes it better I think.
The part where you talk about your car randomly hovering and the physics not working, you're on the top part of a loop and don't have enough speed.. therefore your car falls off. 🤦♂️ Lol... At least that's what the video is showing
I was so tempted to get this on the switch, but got it for the PS5 instead. And dang it looks good. So glad I could relive my childhood with this game, I still have the cars lol.
I got it on PS5 also. I like the game itself, however I do not like the "free to play" style paid season events, multiple season passes, and car dlc packs not included even when purchasing the season pass. Side note: The huge finger prints on the cars and track are a nice detail.

I only have hw burning rubber. Hw unleashed looks crazy fun. When it is selling for a low price I will acquire. Till then burning rubber is good for me. Great video on this top game.😊

Is this the same with the Game of the Year edition or do you still have lootboxes after you buy that one ? If so, it's just the same as Mariokart Tour and Disney Speedstorm where you have to put real money in the game, and then you still can't get what you want. Only difference with Mariokart Tour and Disney Speedstorm is that you have to pay for this game and then have to pay for extra content as well, where the other two are F2P. It's just scamming...Where is the time that you bought a game and what you see is what you get 🤔🤬
Which is a better arcade racer on Switch? Hot Wheels Unleashed, Crash Team Racing or Cruisin Blast? If you're going to buy just 2 what whould you buy? (I only play local couch play so I don't mind Crusin Blast having no online play)
How was the difficulty? Early reviews said that basically anything other than the easiest setting was asking for utter misery at best. Did this get patched? I was a big Hotwheels kid, so really want to get this, but don’t fancy being punished all the time.
Medium isn’t too bad, once you know how to drift well, most races will take you probably about 1-3 try’s to beat with the boss races and harder tracks likely taking a few more try’s. It really is the time trials that get frustrating especially if you go for all the unleashed times, it’s not impossible but you will probably have to be willing to looking out for and take shortcuts where possible.
