I’ve never heard it called a drilling machine instead of simply a drill. My granddaughter comes with me to our monthly hot wheels swap meet. I am so happy she has a female collector to look up to and watch on RU-vid. Great work.

I got a Track Ripper that white with black cyberpunk style stripes and red rims, I thought it look wayy better with red 5 spoke wheels but had no idea how to go about it 😅 So thanks!
Not sure how helpful this will be now, but I've found 3 to 4.5 mm works well. Though different cars have different rivets, so you've got to do some judgement yourself on what fits where
Kind of amazing that the folks at Mattel often match the wrong wheels with a car. I also have the black 911 Porsche and the factory wheels don't do the vehicle justice at all. Another example is putting wheels with red rings on a car when it also doesn't fit the body style or colours.
@2:26 I just discover the greatest tip to remove the car out of the blister without damaging the graphics or the card itself. Pour "Nail Polish Remover" generously behind the card (by the blister area obviously) and wait a few seconds! It will come off like nothing ever happened. The card will dry out in less than a minute.

This is a great way to do it but I have another way to pop the wheels out you open the car same way, then you grab some small tweezers with like the hook shape and put it under the wheels, then push on it and pop the axle up. Then the small bits are all there so you can swap without them coming loose
I feel like if you point out that girls like cars in your channel name, it kinda emphasizes that they usually don't, which enforces the stereotype and defeats the name itself. Confusion.
I think, lot of girls like cars, more than the we think, but because of this is the stereotype they usually trained to have different interest. This should change in the future :)

When I want to open my Hotwheels, I just give it to my dog for a couple of minutes so he can chew the package until the car fell of. I think it's the easiest way...

I've bought a couple dozen HW with custom wheels but find some of them have the chassis failing off after time. Other vendors seems to put in a new rivet and one I liked uses a small screw while a third says he uses superglue and no rivets and screws. I am learning to do this myself to save money (thank you for this excellent video!) but not sure about refastening the chassis with a simple snap. One of the vendors who uses new rivets has the wheels very stiff and hard to roll. I want to avoid that even thought the car looks great in a static position.

To each their own, but I don't see the need for the vice or the gloves to drill and tap a 1:64 model car like a Hot Wheels car or any of the other brands that don't come with screws in their bases out of the box. To me a vice is a no no becuase you could damage the paint on the car. As long as your not running your drill at a high speed you're safe to do it in your hand and you don't want to run the drill that fast anyway becuase you run a risk of breaking your drill bit if you run it to fast into the steal most cars rivets and posts are made out of. No you don't need to cut off the axle tabs you can just take a very small standard common blade type screwdriver to push open the axle tabs then you put your new wheels and axle in the tab spot then use the same standard common blade type screwdriver to push the tab back closed as long as you'e gentle with the axle tab you will not break it.

Once you wheel swap, could you still track them? It seems some might not spin anymore, or maybe the axles will be too loose without something holding them down.
