The story behind this song (the original one) is very tragic. It's about a Georgian (Georgia's a country in Caucasus Region, search it up if you don't know) painter who experienced a sad love story with a French woman. His name was Niko Firosmani, he was very poor but had an incredible talent for painting. He fell in love with a French actress, dancer, and singer named Margarita who was visiting Georgia at that time. He was so in love with her that even though he barely made it through the days because of poverty, he sold his house, brushes, paints, and just everything he had just to buy her millions of red roses(nine carriages were filled). He filled the street with those roses so that when Margarita would wake up she'd smell the scent of roses. Imagine waking up and seeing the street filled with roses just for you, can't relate. Even though she saw the sincere love that Niko had she left him and married a rich man. She left him a goodbye letter before leaving the country and going to Paris. The man literally lived under a staircase for the rest of his life, since he was left homeless. He even painted that actress and named the painting "actress Margarita"
Rozaline Fragrance this song was there in the k drama called my ahjussi, except it was sung by ko woo rim. There are many covers of this song on RU-vid.
‼️ Just wanted you to know that this song was first written by the Latvian artist Raimonds Pauls in 1981. He has received the Order of the Rising Sun and Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon from the Japanese government TODAY!! 💖‼️
First of all the original song is in russian language and it is not a latvian composer, but a soviet one, which means that it is russian and is sung by a russian singer
I still didn't know why the so called international kpop fans didn't appreciate her. I rarely see people talk about Younha. Im one of International Yholics who keep searching for new Younha fans. but sadly no one wants to join us :(
For some strange reason I love this song and this song makes me sad. I don't what the lyrics mean. I first heard it in Oh My Ghost kdrama than in My Mister, searched a lot and finally got it here on RU-vid. I feel this is the best version of it.
I could not imagine that I would tell this: it is better than the original. Pugachyova performed back in 80ies without true emotions though her singing was superb. Here emotions are combined with brilliant vocal. Bravo!
@@Haloreachfenix I am trying to count how many times I have listened to the original version since 80ies. I remember even the first release. Sad (because of my age) but true
I hardly remembered oh na ra's character in my mister because whenever she appears in that drama this song keeps on playing because the one she loves is at the temple, serving. then the when the weather is fine brought me here right now because eun seop father keeps on singing it. hahaha. now I love this song. :(
Great Singer I mean She Great Musician She just has a attitude as a real musician. Her Music always Moving me Streagth me her voice telling me that I am staying in this world only for music that's what i feel..
"Dāvāja Māriņa meitenei mūžiņu" (English: Māriņa gave the girl life) is a Latvian song composed by Raimonds Pauls with lyrics by Leons Briedis. It was performed at the 1981 Mikrofona aptauja by Aija Kukule and Līga Kreicberga. The song is one of Pauls's most popular ones. It has been covered by several artists, most notably by Russian Alla Pugacheva in 1982 with lyrics by Andrei Voznesensky as "Миллион алых роз" (Million alykh roz, "Million Scarlet Roses").
She has had two stages : Korea and Japan. Since Yoonha was a teenagegirl , she has tried singing on these two stages. She is Korean but speaks Japanese as well.
That was simply amazing, it was just so beautiful to hear her interpretation of this song, there was so much emotion in her voice as she sung, it was almost as if her own heart was breaking.
