Hotel Breakers at Cedar Point Tour & Review with Kenny 

I've always wanted to know about the hotel, thanks

So a few years ago, a relative took me to Cedar Point (the amusement park, not the Breakers), for a day, and I noticed the hotel and kept thinking, how nice it would be to have a room right there! (Instead of the hour drive we made to our accommodations on that hot, muggy August day). Thank you for the honest review! FYI, as somebody who has vacationed all over---Bahamas, Orlando, California, Maine, etc), and doing the math, a week at the Breakers, with the park as the primary attraction, the value is just NOT there. The hotel, as you said, looks nice outside. Inside, it's not even average. It looks like a budget motel on the interstate somewhere. Not a good vacation investment for the price.. For example, I could spend a week in Vegas, at one of the prime resorts for the same, or near the same amount of money, only get much better of everything.

Having been there, it’s actually a really beautiful resort. I didn’t think it would be as big as it was, but good for cardio. 😂

I love Cedar Point. Having four onsite hotels reminds me of how Disneyland in Anaheim originally built the Disneyland Hotel because at the time Disneyland was a far away drive and Anaheim didn't have that much business and was in the middle of nowhere. The same thing can be said about Cedar Point and Hotel Breakers, because first time I came to the park, I was driving by forests and small neighborhoods and my first thought was that you'd never expect to find a place like Cedar Point out there, and there it is.

Um am I the only one that saw the video floating all over the place?

This hotel is great! I personally loved it! We got the room with the beach view and the screened in balcony and I thought that one was well worth the money. I DO NOT recommend Castaway Bay! We stayed in a lake view suite with a balcony (425 a night last May). The moment we walked into the lobby the hotel had a bad smell! We then went to the water park to find band aids all over the walls of the wave pool, stained slides, and a broken hot tub. We then go up to the room and the shower was full of hair and pubes! There was also thick mold in the grout and on the shower curtain! I told the front desk and they couldn’t have had a care in the world! On top of that, the first night we stayed there was loud partying/noise till 4 am. When I went into the hallway (it was loud out there and I couldn’t sleep) I was expecting to find children playing or even teenagers. Nope! I found 40+ year old men and women riding on coolers with wheels!! I then go to the lobby to find drunks climbing the displays! To make it worse, a man was on the ground in the parking lot being arrested while surrounded by police officers! We will never stay there again! Hotel Breakers is a 5 star hotel compared to Castaway!! Read Yelp reviews before you stay if you don’t believe me. If it was cheaper per night, it wouldn’t be a problem but to charge that much money, that hotel isn’t worth it one bit! For $650 per night I can stay at TheWit Chicago in the presidential suite with 360 degree views (that hotel is gorgeous too by the way!! A must see)The other hotel (I believe the express) looked better than Castaway!

Just got back from a trip there and we won't ever stay again anywhere but breakers. Its worth every extra penny when you need a break from cedar point. Have stayed at the ones on the causeway but there are still expenses and extra traffic to deal with. If you can afford to stay do it. Rooms not grand service needs improvement but you pay for beach and easy access to America's finest amusement park.

It's not worth it if you are only staying at Hotel Breakers for one day but it's worth it if you are staying for 4 days at Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio! Most big hotels have very outrageous pricing if they are near a big amusement park like Cedar Point or nearby a big airport! 😡

I’m going back to Hotel Breakers for a 4 night stay in a queen room one bed shower cost me $885.00 that was the cheapest room they had so like in the review get ready to pay premium but nothing beats the location this is my fourth time at Breakers. In the loop can you do a review on Dollywoods Dreammore Resort? For 2 night stay there asking with a package $537 king room with s a free time saver pass and staying at Breakers it would be nice to get a free fast lane plus for one day. Doesn’t Dollywood Dreammore Resort cost more then Breakers?

I wish our rate was $335/night. We’re going in two weeks (end of July) two nights was over $1100. With my platinum pass discount. Maybe next time in may or June.

"Hi, friend!" "Chase is having a great time. He loves it here." And thus a lifetime of $335/night hotel rooms were sold. My 1st visit to HB was last year, coming up from Arkansas for SteVe. Having worked at WDW in FL, I had very high standards and was curious what I got for the money. Verdict? I'm returning 9 nights from now for 4 days, FL+, dining, drink, and pix pkg. AND I'm bringing a fresh victim, er, best buddy who's literally never heard of CP and refuses to watch any of the RU-vid videos, "..I want to be surprised...", he says. ROFL
