Hotel California by The Eagles, as performed on 6 Teenage Engineering Pocket Operators. Sneaky sample from California Girls and California Dreaming for the fade out. #pocketoperators .
@@pastoelio The C64 cracktro's ... ah the memories. Sometimes I didn't even play the game and just kept watching because it was THAT good. That high pitched sound starting around 2:00 sounds very SID chip to me.
I bought that same behringer usb interface to hook up my pocket operators also lol :) I was bummed because I thought my laptop had line in, and i wanted a good interface eventually that has midi I/O but didn't have the money for a good one right away. Honestly the behringer usb is pretty good especially if you have an outer mixer. Good job on this!
Brilliant arrangement and performance, Rich! I have a couple of POs and I still struggle to tame them. I guess it's my big fingers. I'm curious.....besides the Monotron Delay and your audio interface, what other gear am I seeing? I assume the one right above the Monotron is a mixer of sort, but what are the two boxes in the middle?
Thanks very much. The middle box is a sync splitter, encased in a Lego shell. Sync splitter means I can mix volumes easily. The small box is for cable ducting only. I don't like wires all over the place
Lego baseboard prevents the POs and other gear from skating all over the place. Gravity plus studs. When i play live I add a bit more lego and velcro straps so it can even be turned upside down
That's such a fantastic solution; modular, cheap and effective. thanks for sharing and replying on an old video. I might steal this idea 💡@@richselby7878
