This is very frustrating you guys selling a $1000 diffuser and I’m sitting here and can’t open because you DO NOT have a updated video showing how to use key card!!! This unit I just received is not the same nor do I see a circle dot on this black unit. I’ve spent valuable time I can’t get back. Where are the instructions !!! First impression is I want to return it for lack of ease of use

I just bought mine a few weeks ago and had the same issue. Make sure the arrow on the key card is lined up with the lock logo on the front of the unit.

You will hear a click when it’s lined up correctly and should be able to take out oil dispenser

People having issues with the key it’s inside the small bag they give you with parts. Mine was white.

I am SO frustrated. Sometimes I can get the top off, sometimes I spend 10 minutes moving the key around and give up. Mine is NOT connected to HVAC and I don't need it to lock!

Just got my black Villa unit and office is closed. I see NO black dot on the back! Are you supposed to remove the mounting bracket? No tool for that!

Did anyone install it into the HVAC unit? I have the tubing but the unit does not have a part to screw the tubing into.

This is not convenient without an app. We have 2 hvac units for our home. One for upstairs and one for the main floor. Our hvac units are in the attic. There is no way I would ever crawl up there to adjust the settings.

Hi Sara! Unfortunately, we have had some complications with setting up the WiFi capabilities for the diffuser, and therefore recommend using the time and scent intensity settings directly on the diffuser, and forgoing the app. We are working to improve the app to provide a better user experience in the future.

Mine has gone from flashing green to red. I filled it back up thinking that's what it was but it's been red for several days still. What does it mean?

Hi! We're sorry to hear that you're having issues with your Villa Scent Diffuser. If the light is stil red, reset the volume and level. Volume is the size of the bottle in the machine, Level is the amount of oil in the machine. Feel free to contact us to support@hotelcollection.com to get further assistance if needed. Hi David! Did you receive a magnetic key? The magnet is where the key symbol is. Please place the magnet (key symbol) directly over the circle. You should hear a clicking sound if the magnet is placed correctly. DO NOT BUY THESE OVERPRICED DIFFUSERS! My tower diffuser stopped working 4 months (only a 90 day warranty) after purchasing. Custo 0:56 $299.98 for a replacement. Such a rip off.

Buyer Beware! Pros -The three scents that we tried were all great, but that’s where the positives stop. Cons - The products are priced as a luxury product, but the diffuser and scenting do not cover the square footage advertised, even on the highest settings. - If you opt into any of the subscriptions, you are going to get hit with extreme service & handling, and shipping fees, which aren’t previously disclosed. - You have no option within your profile to cancel your subscription on your own nor can you remove your credit card information. -To cancel, you must rely on emails, phone calls, or customer service tickets. Over the last several weeks I’ve emailed 4 times, submitted 3 customer service requests, and sat on hold multiple times for 30+ minutes with the company’s “Loyalty Department”, and my subscription still has not been canceled. - I am going to have to contact my credit card company and tell them to refuse all payments to this company to keep them from charging me again. Good luck if you choose to do business with this company and ever choose to stop…I hope you have a better experience.

We're sorry to hear you're having issues with the magnetic card. To open the diffuser using the magnetic key, please follow these steps: Retrieve the magnetic key located on the side of the diffuser. Place it on the black circle at the top back of the diffuser.
