THE 13 Hotel is a 200 room all-villa hotel (villas are large
suites in Macau parlance). Watch the construction of this hotel.
The hotel was first announced in 2013 and will arguably be the most luxurious hotel ever built, expected to open in late summer 2016 at a cost of over US$7 million per room.
South Shore Holdings (0577.HK), continues to impress with their list of collaboration partners for their venture; the world’s first ever ultra-exclusive luxurious Cotai hotel, THE 13 Macau, which targets wealthy Chinese business tycoons.
The Exterior Design Theme Architecture and the Interior Design Theme was developed by internationally acclaimed architect Peter Marino.
Peter Marino is the principal of Peter Marino Architect PLLC, an internationally acclaimed architecture, planning and design firm based in New York City, whose clients include some of the most iconic names in the fashion and art worlds. He is responsible for the flagship stores of many of the world’s leading luxury brands including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Ermenegildo Zegna, Graff, and Loewe.
In 2011 Mr. Marino received a MIPIM Architectural Review Future Project Awards Commendation for a mixed use development in Beirut, Lebanon, and in 2007 was honored with two MIPIM awards (“Overall Winner” and “Tall Buildings”) for a residential tower in New York. He has received numerous American Institute of Architects (AIA) awards for his work on projects with Chanel, Ermenegildo Zegna, Louis Vuitton, among others, and continues to be recognized in the press for his contributions to the field.
