we hadn't had the best living environment for a few years now, so me and my family would go to hotels on christmas and i'm pretty sure every time we would go swimming, so it makes me very nostalgic. i really hope to go swimming again sometime soon, but i really love this mix, it's very calming and you picked wonderful songs! you make very good vaporwave mixes ^^

I hope you and your family are living in a better environment rn. And if not, I hope y'all find one soon. I've lived with someone emotionally abusive who I also thought was my best friend for several months (I was constantly out of the dorm after 5 months bc it just got to be way too much), so I understand how integral a healthy living environment is to one's well-being. I truly wish you and your family the best. Livable environments should be available to everyone and it shouldn't be a luxury.

I keep coming back to this one Playlist. My family got a hot tub about a year ago and the first thing I did was sit in it with my dad and listen to this. This continues to be my favorite vaporwave Playlist, and honestly, Mt favorite playlist in general.

great mix!! also, for the people in the comments wanting to know the anime the pool image is from, I actually happen to know this one! It's Oniisama e... ('Dear Brother'), from Tezuka Pro in 1991. It's much less vaporwave-y than that sweet pool might lead you to believe. ^^

I've listened to this a lot during this year, I've used it as background music during my study sessions and I enjoyed every second of it! 10:34 happy 29th anniversary to the massive snowstorm that hit Louisville on Jan 17 1994! It's being talked about here. Also, there's a surprising amount of Louisville stuff in vaporwave. I think I've counted 5 references over all, but it's weird to me that it's happened that many times. The Weather Channel 1-11 or however many uses Louisville news footage for the music videos.
