This was one heck of a video for me Peter! Thank you very much. First of all: I wish you all the best for 2023! I already got Fougère Royal and still was wondering what other perfumes from this house are up my alley. Fougère Royal is one of my all time favorite and signature scents. Cologne Intense is on my wish list now also. The way you discribe the scent is like; this one is just missing in my collection. Neroli I absolutly started to love after smelling and buying Castle Forbes Neroli. Also the scent of old stores which sell tea... that sounds awesome. Yeah; I'm into that older gentlemanly croud like scents. Bois Mystique I'm not realy sure about yet. I tried Lalique Homme/ Lion again lately and that scent has some ungly memories to it for me. So I think I'll pass on this one. Figuier Noir I don't know if it will be something I'd like. Fig just isn't my kind of note and it is listed in the mid and base. I do for sure am looking forewards to your review on it.
My wife purchased Fougere Royal for me while we were in San Francisco about 10yrs ago. She just loves it on me! I use it only on special occasions like today (37th wedding anniversary). It’s very sophisticated and mature. My bottle box is silver on silver, so I guess the black box is a newer update. I’ll continue to repurchase this fragrance in the future. Great video!
All three fragrances are definitely for the elegant and mature man. I love all three representations, each one distinct but can be worn by the same person, of that makes sense. I own Cologne Intense and Bois Mystique. Owned a decant of Fougere Royale. Cologne Intense is NOT a "freshy". To my nose it acts like a citrus heavy chypre. A super elegant and underrated fragrance. I believe its the most polarizing of the three. Bois Mystique is definitely inspired by Creed's Royal Oud. It is an easier wear as it has moderate projection and longetivity. I really enjoy this one during colder climates. The quality on all three fragrances is top notch.
I have full bottles of Fougere Royale and Bois Mystique. Both fantastic. Im a little afraid of Cologne Intense, which I've yet to try. Seems like it might be too rough around the edges for me.
Excellent video Houbigant is really a staple in the fragrance industry, I thought you would review Figuier Noir, that's thé one I'm looking for as I'm addicted to fig notes

Cologne Intense brought and peaked my interest buy this review is peaking my interest I think maybe more to Bois Mystic. As a first time buy of Houbigant What would you suggest Cologne Intense or Bois Mystic. Again thank you for the video and review.
I really enjoy houbigant. Fougere royale and cologne intense performance on me is perfect, about 8-10hours easily. Not Bois mystique and that's because I don't buy a full bottle of this. Very classy house 👌🏼
