Total legend, thanks for the great tutorial!. This was really interesting. Love being able to use formulas inside Houdini. It's one of the reasons why I wanted to learn the program :). Art from math is awesome!
With so many of these, I don't see how they achieve a fractal dimention any higher than 2. As far as I can tell, they look perfectly smooth just judging by my eyes.
strange.. i'm using super computer and even thought when i play and after it reach to frame around 30almost houdini freeze and crash.. i check and found that Houdini create around 2 million particles without the first 20 frames... and it barely gave small shape.. what do you think?? for your video it looks like flexable and it doesn't produce a huge number of particles or points.
My guess is that you might be missing the Group filter for the point wrangle inside Solver network which causes the point to be generated on unnecessary positions.
@@JunichiroHorikawa I had the same problem, solved, thanks. But before it gave me multiple times something like "invalid group" and I couldn't understand why. At some point it stoped telling that and everything went well.
