That animation of the sister screaming like that is a reference to a Courage the Cowardly Dog episode of a girl playing the violin with her back to Courage before stopping and screaming at him, I forgot the name of the episode but it was the episode where Courage was in the city and had to retrieve a 'evil' package for a human sized talking cockroach while trying to avoid the cops, I always found it hilarious the the 'evil' package was just a squeegee, I've seen every episode and I love every episode
Same, I'll admit that one of the only episodes to truly make me feel absolute fear was the episode with Fred, there was just something about him that I didn't like at all lol
4 real. Ppl always rag on SHB when he plays a game for the first time & misses something; yet few of them ever end up recognizing how thorough & skilled he is at the games he plays. It’s bullshit, man. He does a fantastic job & doesn’t get nearly enough credit for it.
I just love how someone summed up the likely message this game takes. About how leaving an abusive household may take a part of you (i.e. Tammy's arm) but it's worth it in the end. The other endings being temporary 'solutions'. Also, god I love the "Walking." theme.
Omg- I never noticed that but, yeah. The father trying to kill you, your sister hating the father, the mom being an alcoholic. Wow. The subtly in this game is insane.
Fun little observation: there’s a movie starring Anthony Hopkins called The Rite and it’s a true(ish) story based demonic possession and this young man learning to be an exorcist. For a majority of the film, they use frogs as symbols for demonic possession. I was thinking about that movie while watching the final ending with the frog boss thing.
I also read in tv tropes how this game have inspiration from a Japanese movie about a cursed house, with the song the sister plays in the piano room coming from that I think
|Endings| 1. Good Girl Ending = 0:56 2. Patricide Ending = 6:07 3. The Song Ending = 8:48 4. Family Ending = 11:25 5. True Ending = 16:04 6. Friend Ending = 20:42 7. Extras = 26:33 8. Diary entries = 27:44 (P.S. I have never done this before on any channel, but I was really bored so I decided to do this and I wanted this as a tutorial when I play this game.)
There’s a detail about the true ending that I find interesting. The narration changes from second person (saying ‘you’ for the main character) to first (saying ‘I’ and from the protagonist’s perspective). This- along with how tabby mentions feeling like she was controlled by someone else, and instead of a boss fight having a cutscene at the end where we aren’t controlling tabby- makes it seem like we may not be completely heroic in this story. I’m not sure what exactly it means, or if it means anything, but it might be fun for someone to theorize about.
l can't wait for the story explained is the has you eren yet beys gain thanks que to cante eles has para for and de in not ginigs hasy up unhe were que asy just or kinkgs
@@roberthall8429 not exactly the same but at some point (around 8:28) the doll says "You think you're clever?" Which ressembles a lot Flowey's "Clever, veerryy cleever"
Ah Mikey. While half the fun is screwing up I'm glad your editing skills cut all the filler. I'm one of those types that doesn't care about the wrapping, I just want the prize.
The girl screaming looks like it's a reference from "Courage the Cowardly Dog", in the season 2 episode 2 "Courage in he Big Stinking City", when Courage went to Schwick's apartment complex, courage saw a girl playing a calm tune on a violin, and when Courage thought it was ok, the girl suddenly turned around and kinda made like a jumpscare, the face the violin gurl made is pretty similar to the sister's face in this game when you splashed her with water whsn she was playing the piano
Tbh i want to see your full playthrough so we can see your reaction and all but this is amazing too 😆. Cant wait for the story video. Keep up the good work 🤩
I really loved this video and your dedication to showing us the friend ending! Also for morbid curiosity you should do a video on all death scenes, since each animation is so unique
Wow, this just went up 5 minutes ago? I obviously haven't watched it yet, but I'm about to! Edit: I like your decision to cut out the experimenting and get right to the meat of the game. Granted, you were doing a great job on your playthrough, and I know a lot of people want to see your initial reaction to everything. But there's already too many channels out there overreacting to the scary bits of games; instead, you highlight the content, provide information, and then discuss lore. I find that _infinitely_ more interesting. You're more interested in storytelling, direction, presentation, and discussion than dangling keys in front of our faces to get a giggle. I think this has led to you becoming one of the biggest names in horror-centric content on RU-vid - more of a thinking man's channel, a chance to more deeply appreciate these games and stories and images that so fascinate us. That said, I've greatly enjoyed some of your playthroughs as well, such as your very good Resident Evil Village run. Great video, great format, great narration, looking forward to more.
I really loved this game, I haven’t played anything like it before! And I had no idea there were so many endings to it either, thanks for sharing with us!!
Has much I enjoy the playthoughs I also appreciate how putting all content of a game into one sub 20 minute video instead of splitting the videos into 40-60 minutes videos shows how super horror bro doesn’t care about the money but the quality of the video, thanks stay awesome
@@the_fenix_3247 has more videos with out editing you can make more easier with out as much quality I’m not saying I hate 40-60 minutes I saying it earlier to make
@@ThatJoJoGuy012 Not sure what you mean? SHB has plenty of examples of edited playthroughs? He does both an initial playthrough and ending show off videos, just like he also does videos about secrets/Easter eggs. He's a channel dedicated to showing off horror games, with more focus on the endings, secrets, and lore videos. The playthroughs aren't as common but have started slowly becoming more common because it happened that his audience really likes his initial reactions to certain games. That said, even his playthroughs usually average around 30 min, not 40-60.
The sister turning around and screaming is from the episode of courage the cowardly dog when he was running from that cockroach in the city! Fun easter egg when he was opening the door and the girl was playing a beautiful song on her violin and when she turned around her face was crazy will never forget that burned into my childhood for life
I love you're videos but I'm not sure how I like this format. Would have loved to have seen you as you learn these things and your actual commentary during playing it.
14:20 - you know you can kill her, right? Not only that, but you can put out the fire using the water long before you did. As soon as you drop the chandelier, you can put out the one candle still alight.
I can't help but feel the screaming sister animation is a reference to the screaming violin girl from Courage the Cowardly Dog, the animation is almost identical.
If you don’t want the piano to catch on fire once the chandelier has fallen you can pour the water on the broken piano before it catches on fire completely.
the giant woman : Can survive shotgun bullets ✔️ Can survive a beartrap ✔️ Can fit in the house with a low ceiling ✔️ Can survive its own hands IS THIS EVEN A QUESTION?
Omg the sisters screaming animation by the piano was a reference to Courage the Cowardly Dog :D it's a ref to a claymation jumpscare of the little girl playing the violin before she turns to the camara and screams with her face made of clay and it's super scary
Can we just agree that SuperHorrorBro's voice fits horror games perfectly? If yall read Wings of Fire, book 1,Seer has an MorrowSeer voice, and i think thats too much.
3:05 I'm rewatching stuff ever since I found out that there was apparently a "House 2" trailer made for Tokyo Game Show 2023, and this is an old vid, but was that a Courage the Cowardly Dog reference???
