A poem, Buckin billy ray , cutting trees / climbing them and saving the day, uses his own time to record and make mine and much others day! His chain is sharp! He’s got a good heart ! And that’s just the start. THE MAN THE MYTH THE LEGEND mr buckin billy ray✊🏼 “she cuts eh!”
Love the great information on the pull direction Buckin' I made the mistake once of doing it the wrong way many years ago and escaped destruction by the skin of my teeth! Also, I love the way your son is growing in his ability to read the trees and rigging and how he keeps an eye on your safety too. You are a blessed man!
Wooooooohooooooo yeah Sylvia great pull and Buckin and Ganges great setup for the pull. Great info on setting up the block and setting pull lines to keep em off the house. Love it Buckin. Thank you🌲❤🌲✊🪓
Job well done Buckin,& son. Y’all are definitely professional woodsmen. Always enjoy seeing your craft in action. Stay safe,& God bless y’all.💯❤️👍🏾😀🙋🏽♀️✝️🙏🏾🇺🇸
im a tree man for a living but man... buckin is just my idol, hes old school and he just knows exactly what hes doing and always keeps his calm (tree work can be SCARY lol) and he just has so much confidence, like he has no doubts on his work he knows exactly whats going to happen. i truly hope i can be as knowledagble and confident in my work one day as buckin is!!
Nice job Buckin'. I'm sure there's a lot more to this type of fallen than we realize. Years of experience makes the outcome like this. Ganges is a fine young man and worker and a great son that helps you a lot. Pretty knowledgeable himself and respectful. Thanks for another lessen.
pretty cool job Buckin! Sharpened my first chain and it cut unreal! I used your teachings! Thank you! Started round four yesterday so I'll be down a few days but I am looking forward to more of your content to keep me going until I can get to the cottage and harvest some more dead standing. Looking forward to seeing the forge arrive for BUCKSKIN FORGE!!
Great job, you and hogan really have an eye for cutting trees. Hogan is really his fathers son. I am proud of you both. It’s so good to see Hogan again, I miss him. Gods speed. Stay kind.
I always come back and watch your videos like this before cutting trees close to my cabin. I’ve got a severe leaner hanging over my cabin. I cut a similar one years ago that was even closer. I used a good strong rope tied high up and pre-loaded it. My son was driving my 4-wheel drive Ford truck. I put that eighty foot tall big pine right where I wanted it. Thank you for your advice. I think we can handle this next tree too. It is quite a bit smaller, but leaning far more toward the cabin.
Great setup nothing could’ve been done different I think you made a very smart move with that cedar though 😅love ya buckin, amazing video as always..never stop spreading that kindness
Always mesmerized by what you do with a standing tree and or trees and it's undoubtedly apparent because of the amount of hours you've spent with a power saw in hand and looking towards the canopy or hanging in the canopy. I learn something everytime I watch and also appreciate all the reminders to previous lessons. Stay safe and God bless.
Im actually kinda jealous of that tree truck I have a 1980 F250 and its a tree truck like yours log across the tailgate and all 💪 tough trucks and i can say from 25 years doing trees that a Ford truck is super tough this is one of my favorite videos by you and i appreciate the content god bless
we have a 1990 f250 for a farm truck. 300 Inline 6, and zf-5 with Granny low. pulled over a lot of dying Ash trees with that truck. it will pull just about anything, just not very quickly!
Good cuttin Buckin. Thank you for continuing to share your vast amount of knowledge with us. Hope you have a happy and prosperous new year my friend. 🤙🪓🌳
Glad ole Cleetus chimed in about watchin yer crowns. That's how they roll down Mississippi way....I told you that already didn't I. Buckin that was amazing to watch and more fun than a carnival. That was clean and precise and I loved every minute of it! You and Ganges are sure a good team!
Hi Buckin Happy new year buddy. When I was on the trees back in the 80s we had a C hook that was from a train part of the linkage from the chain to the tender carriage really heavy but great for hooking wire roped on trees
This is one of those times Hogan could almost put the words in your mouth . Good job you two . But Buckin', YOU are ridiculous . That cedar was the craziest twistiest one I think I've ever seen .
Wow great job guys , always cool to see u n gangees working together , i must say i felt pretty cool wearing my stand up n buck shiirt cutting some trees and cleaning some atv trails here at home , love the shirt buckin , gotta get me some sweaters
Very cool video. Been watching you for about a month now and enjoy every video. Very helpful and use full. Thank you for that and I have been trying your tips with great success! My confidence level has increased dramatically! Thank you again friend!!
Wow twisted sister for sure. I've never seen two trees twisted like this, so far up. Awesome work men! Happy New Year and all the very best to all of your family and to the channel family. Stay safe, enjoy your life and remain calm.. hugs and love.
Hey buckin,,,, I bet we all would like you to do a video on what kind of rope needed and knots you use out of the tree and why. I see so many tree guys use rope and knots when they climb. As well how the rope works when you come down the tree
Great work. Nice little echo top handle. Those oil and gas caps can be a struggle to get off. You can pull out the pull cord and use the t handle to loosen them. In case anyone was wondering. 😎. Happy New Years
I was describing 'this guy' on RU-vid whose video that I watched to learn how to sharpen my chain to a couple of fellas who are tree service guys. They said "Buckin' Billy Ray!!" I said "Yeah! Chain saw sharpening school. The thing cuts through trees super fast now." Stand up and buck! From Nova Scotia, Canada. Cheers!
I've learned so much from you and I love the new Highboy! If you're inclined, I'd really profit from a lesson in how you steer a tree from the hinge cut. I've had problems landing them where I want them when I've taken smaller trees down because I want them to drop at 11 o'clock and instead, they drop at 10:30. I suspect those stings on the hinge play a critical roll in terms of where it lands.
"LUCK" laboring under correct knowledge. That was the craziest most artful planning and execution of tree felling I have ever witnessed!! OMGosh...Buckin Billy Ray has got skills WOW !! Praise Jesus nobody got hurt.
I use my F150 for logging all the time it’s my skidder l use straw line and a choaker no rope l like your lnstruction good advice my favourite block is a Tommy Moore
My wife came in and asked WHY I'm so fascinated withBuckin Billy Ray because I have the TV on You Tube and the Laptop on also watching Buckin Billy Ray !! I told her because I want to watch it twice!! THEN I told her the TV doesn't have a Key Board To... WISH EVERYONE A HAPPY NEW YEAR !! Even the guy with the big Front Teeth, you know who I'm talkin about ...
@@BuckinBillyRaySmith , Not only that , NOW I reccomend it to everyone ! It also saved the Dogs life, he stepped on the TV remote right when the trees started falling and shut the TV off ! good thing I had the Laptop on to see them fall !!! Now He'll be with us in 2022 hahaha.
I carry a block, you just reminded me to use the damn thing some time. I don't cut anything ambitious, but I've only got a 2.8 ton van to pull them over.
