Thank you all for the kind words. To answer some questions, we live in the country, so we don't have many neighbors. Yes, the home is in Texas and yes we have tornados. What you can't see in the video is the F5 rated tornado shelter that I had built into the garage. The home was custom designed and built using current technology. The foundation is poured with bolts inside of it that hold the frame to the foundation. Very sturdy and will last a long time.
Justin Henry it is a very beautiful home and yes the custom add ins have alot to do with the pricing. I figured there was something we just couldn't see. Very good you did the tornado shelter. You just never know in Texas. You don't like the weather just wait it a minute, it'll change.
everyone commenting what if a tornado hit?what if he lives somewhere where tornados arent common,its like saying why isnt the house underground what if their was a nuclear war
@Ozone Well no typical house of my country ever flown but to be fair we use concrete for the main static structure and roof while bricks are only for walls. The concrete goes into the ground for at least 2,5 meters in a reverse T formation. All concrete includes iron bars vertically and horizontally. I guess you understand why wind is not a real danger for such houses

I just wanted to say what a beautiful house this is. Very well constructed and from what it looks like in the video, the quality of the build was fantastic. They seemed to have used very good waterproofing for the exterior of the home and I really liked that they put the layer of plywood board throughout the whole house. No one likes those cheap sidings that new houses nowadays are being made with. But anyways, congrats and thanks for the video!

The way he built that house, Perfect. I built my home the same way. Since my house was nearly new, and all the other houses were pretty old, With the technology that came with mine. It withstood a tornado, cant say the same for others. ;) Im just guessing that you really dont know how we use wood here. Its strong and the foundation is deep into the ground. Preventing it from most things.
Compare the wood you use in USA and Germany in the roof. Also in Europe nearly every roof has a concrete frame not like this. Houses in USA is like: nice on the outside, shitty in the inside.
Ill just let you know when my house comes down, its been up for 20 years and everything is fine. Plus, with my business right now, I could build a new one and it wouldn't do damage.
Such a great video, you did a great job! Can I ask a quick process of how you did the timelapse? I have a client wanting a video like this, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to keep the gopro in the same spot everyday, and which settings. you obviously had to take it down every night to keep it from gettting stolen. Amazing job!
I don't know where it is, but it seems like a state with low density population and plenty of lands. How I will I could live here after I am retired, and also build such a nice house.

I took them 2 weeks to frame my house, and it is 2,629 square feet. The first floor was framed in the first week, the second floor, n roof was framed in the second week. it took 2 more weeks after that to install the windows, doors, put shingles on the roof, landscape, do the siding, and do the driveway and sidewalk. Then they had my Pre-drywall meeting. after that they put the drywall up, installed the appliances, and the flooring, and i had my final walk though. 3 days after that i closed on the house.
is it onshore or offshore, that's what american house about. It took couple of months to be build and decorated and then once a wind at speed 120 km, the house will float somewhere in the ocean.
