Hi guys! In this video, I wanna show you a real house in Ukraine which is on sale for 3000$.
It is located in the Poltava region, 190-200 km from Kyiv, in a good green area with hills and rivers around. This house has 2.5 acres of land, a huge yard, and even its own forest just in the yard. Also, it has already gas and electricity inside. It's a great offer!
I hope you enjoy this video. Please like and subscribe.

I love that smile! The house is what we'd call (in my area of the US) a "fixer-upper." I'm too old and lazy to do that much work any more. I could see it as a perfect place for an artistic young couple producing paintings, pottery or glass work, though. If I lived there, I'd turn it into a blacksmith shop like I have here on my farm. Thanks for another great video, guys!

i am well travelled. i travelled to the Ukraine twice. This is one of my favorite countries. Kiev is wonderful city, and the small towns and villages are charming in their own way. i look middle-eastern and never felt unwelcome. It is also embrassily cheap for tourists. I felt often guilty for paying so little in restaurants. People, first seem cold, until they know you a bit better and then they open up and can be very friendly. Hopefully the Corona situation will improve soon so travelling will be fun again

They are most pleasant to watch because they seem to appreciate their bond with the earth and are not afraid to reveal those things that have meaning in their life. I have lived with a family from Ukraine and they are cordial people who willingly share their culture with anyone who are wishes to take part. That was a very sad video, it made me cry when I saw the honey bee hive frames that still had good honey sealed in it. Anybody that cares for and keeps honey bee's are superbly genuine good people and so it makes me sad to see the relics of a beekeepers past. Hope you guys buy that homestead and fix it up, feed the birds and maybe even set up a few bee hives just for the enjoyment of loving such wonderful insects that produce fabulous honey by working and flying so hard from flower to flower then back to the colony. My wife and would live in a place like this happily. While the home needs work it has everything you could need or want. Where we live in south Texas away from a large city, a property like that with 2.5 acres, solid structure, electricity and heat and near a good road, even without indoor plumbing could easily bring 80,000. In an area closer to a large city in Texas could bring much more than that. The property alone could be worth 150,000 and up. Where you live in Ukraine is very beautiful, thank you for showing it to us.
@leeh9420
@leeh9420 2 года назад
$80K in a rural area of the US was what I was thinking too. Of course, it would likely have indoor plumbing/etc. in the US. I have seen properties in rural Portugal that need a lot of work, but have land/etc. for something closer to $35K-$40K USD. My main concerns would be not knowing the culture or language.

In Greece, to a small village near/close to a big city, the same property will go around 30.000-40.000 euros, ten times and even more than in Ukraine. If it is near the sea, goes up to 60.000-70.000 euros. But based on Greek living standards, you have to spend another 20.000-30.000 on renovations in order to be livable.
@josephm8294
@josephm8294 2 года назад
Where I live in the U.S. it would bring a similar price of about 70 to $80 thousand. We would demolish all the small buildings and start over. My grandfather had a nice parcel of land right on a lake. The land was all anybody wanted. They built a big new house. People with a lot of money want to make their dwellings fit their new lifestyles, unless it is truly an architectural beauty.

That is the issue most people have with exploring new countries… they need people to explore with them that kind of know the place. The best thing to do is sponsor someone from the country that you want to see, let them stay with you as they explore this country, and you stay with them as you explore their country… This is the next best thing, and not as expensive.

I love this property inside and out... I've got a small amount of savings and if I was halfway organised I'd of bought this property.....seems strange saying this now,but I've always loved the look of the Ukraine ever since looking at it in books my MUM bought for me at Christmas and birthdays back in the 70s and 80s...and then watching vloggers in the Ukraine has made it stronger....I don't know what the process is for foreigners (Brits) buying in the Ukraine and if Brexit has changed that....I know of course there's a war going on hopefully things change sooner than later for every Ukrainian....I suppose I'm showing support by saying that I'll still be interested in looking at this property in the future if possible.... I've been looking in Bulgaria as well but prices have risen a lot there during COVID I suppose those with money still see it as good value where as I'm not willing to pay those prices and 🤗 haven't the money anyway 😊... there's still lots of really cheap property there Bulgaria,but this one in the Ukraine has really got my heart.... I'm thinking about the people in beautiful Ukraine every day and it's heartbreaking watching what's happening everything I've watched about the Ukraine prior to the war it's people so giving open and vibrant and it's cities,towns and villages and real blend of society I'm devastated to see what's happening...all my thoughts and prayers are with everybody going through hell in the Ukraine🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🙏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❤️❤️...

The bees lived in the nest box which is twice 1.5x as deep as the 'honey super' I am a bee keeper from USA. Very nice house. I would live there after water was put in. Thank you for sharing.

Omg, this reminds me of my grandparents vilage. More than half hour drive from the city through bad mountain road. Huge yard, good strong house but cheap prices for it. Does it worth it? Yes it does. You can upgrade the house, change the fasade, add more rooms, change its appearance. Greetings from Makedonija.

I grew up in Somerset, NJ, 08873 in the early sixties. That address is located close to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and the Ukrainian Village, which I believe was a retreat for many Ukrainian people not only from that area but others who would travel there from out of state. The area of Somerset, is located in Franklin Township which has a fairly large Ukrainian population. It’s a small world!

@@slicklandy7819 I’m not sure about the population size now. I’ve since moved from that area. However, about a year ago I was in that location and drove around a bit and took note that there are large populations of Indians, from India I guess, moving into that same area.

I truly enjoyed finding your channel and watching your videos. Learning about different countries and it's people shows us how so much alike we are. In the Montreal, Canada area a property, such as this, would probably start around 300k. The property is wonderful with lots of potential for gardens and a few animals. The house, once renovated would make a lovely home for a small family. Thanks for sharing with us :)

Keep the property in the family. It’s so special. Something like that where I live in Nevada would be probably half a million US, maybe more depending on where it is. We are close to Lake Tahoe. I used to live in the Sierra Nevada mountains on the Northern California side and there were similar houses from the gold rush days, they are very special.

@@Survivor-John-Marbregxon I am an RE agent, this house does not have indoor plumbing. It uses wood stove to heat. When you do a comparative market analysis location and other houses in the area is important. You can’t compare a house without amenities in another country so well. Look in California in very remote areas, the prices drop when in the middle of nowhere. Where I live houses average 400k.

Lyuba's grandpa was my neighbor!! I called Somerset, NJ home for 5 years, lived 5 min from: 89 John E Busch Ave, Somerset, NJ 08873. That part of Somerset got hundreds of Ukrainian families after WW2 as they refused to return from German labor camps back to USSR. It's called the Ukrainian village around there.

That's interesting, in Detroit area there is a Ukranian area and churches, and I'm Polish/Romanian so maybe why I even noticed but never really though about the 'old country' as its called here in the states until now, its changed so much the US is like living behind everywhere else in the world. Like another one said, even if the wages are higher every cost is higher now too, and the quality of life has gone down if youre European. But that looks like my Grandfathers farm in Michigan as I recall as a small child, how they even knew to come to the US fleeing from communist Romania maybe what 70 yrs ago and buy a farm with some horses I have no idea. Those generations are gone now, but all the kids grew up hard working.

In general, buy properties via some agencies that nows the market and laws, and who are experienced dealing with foregin customers. Will cost more, but can save you for lots of trouble. Chasing after something that seems cheap at first sight, can sometimes end up being much more expencive than one imagined.

Hi Pavlov, thank you again for another great video. The house looks very nice. A house like that, again depending on how close it is to a major city, would be out of reach for the average person here. If it was in the area where Liuba's grandpa lives in Somerset county, New Jersey it might go for 700 thousand US dollars, just the house, not including the land or the other buildings. His address is close to the southern end of Staten Island, about an hour or less by car. Thanks again for showing us beautiful Ukraine.
