I paid for video visits between the baby and his father, which were court ordered.. It was mandatory that I did them during my visit time. The case worker was fully aware would not pay or even consider reimbursement. I did not want the money it was the principle. The judge wanted visits. The father had designed his rights away and admitted, but he could not afford to take care of the child and the child ended up being adopted. There's something wrong with this whole scenario
Congress men and women. I wanna thank you so much for finally listening. I lost my great grandson They took him straight out of my arms. He was adopted two years ago but I fought four years to get him. The judge took a vote yet he held an election and of course, the state's attorney. The guardian ad linum everyone voted against me. $60000. I spent only to lose my great grandson and also his father. His father had disabilities and they told him he had to move out of my home. He had a legal adult guardian because they could not read and write. He was taken advantage of by criminals and he ended up in prison. Yes, I lost my great grandson and my grandson because of d c f s in illinois.

I would like to see The parents receive the same rights as a criminal. There is being charged within a state. There should be true evidence. No perjury allowed. And children only removed when there is truly eminent danger, not because they were playing in the front yard by themselves for 5 minutes. Not because the neighbor is mad at you and decides to do a Hotline call. I understand children are sometimes in jeopardy and need to be removed, but removing children on a whim. Ending up into adoption, broken family. It's not right, it is just not right. Criminals have more rights than a parent in this country
Will paris using they get more money From the federal government it's a child is disabled and requires medications. There is a price tag on every child. Broken down by medical needs age. Etc each one is a different amount of money
I am from Wisconsin and i would like to see all family court cases be recorded and available to the parties involved at no cost . This would make it easier for all parties involved to be able to get things they need for a defense. This would also make the Judge, GAL, and lawyers more responsible and fair and the lying may be reduced.
You can file a Motion to get the recording in my state (KY). If you're not a party to the case then they deny it, in my experience. However, if you need it for the Court of Appeals, they will typically grant the Motion. They charge for the DVD unless you file your COA action with a Motion to Proceed in Forma Pauperis (as a poor person). This isn't legal advice, just the way it has worked in our personal situation in our state. It may also differ by County. Please look up the local rules as well as the laws related to it. 🙏
The privatized agencies are often times developed out of the original business of adoption, and they continue adaption as their priority even after they sign the contract with the state to help save the children, Work with differential response to help the family but 90% of the time. It ends up with adoption because that's where the money is
Get rid a privatized agencies. If you do nothing else. I do not follow the law of the state. They do not follow the policies and procedures of c p s within the state.
Actually Kentucky has held that spot for the last 5 years. Unless we just recently lost that spot... then I apologize and I pray that no state leads in the removal rate.

I have to pay child support for my child that I haven't seen since the day he was born. I have no criminal history, no drugs, I have helped lead worship at several churches. I used to be a public school teacher. What is my crime? Why are my rights removed with no criminal conviction? This is injustice.
May I ask how they are missing? Are they living with you in order for you to protect them? I bet if you check into it, CPS has closed their cases and never reported them as missing because that's what they do. I'd love to speak with you, but not to cause any problems. I know many ppl who could help that work in different areas of law but they are all anti CPS / family court corruption. You know they probably need emergency housing. They may like to be live in caretakers for a family who needs help with caring for the children that's an idea.
Blake and London Deven’s foster/ adopted mother has just been arrested for beating, starving, murdering , dismembering and burning their bodies. They were removed from their mothers because their mothers were victims of domestic violence. CPS placed 5 children in that murderer’s home and allowed her to adopt them.
If only there was a way to give children back to their families who have suffered from the over zealous child welfare agency that took the children with no just casue..
Its a retention problem in foster parents because those foster parents are not real foster parents, they are an adoptive placement parent. They are listed as a foster parent in order to receive federal funding in order to adopt that child. Child adoptions are being funded by our federal and state governments, which SHOULD NOT HAPPEN. Stop allowing these adoption homes be listed as foster homes; once the fast track to adoption is underway illegally( within a year) then the foster home is able to change its name to an adoption home. This is why there is a foster parent retention problem.
I know this to be true. My grandson the father of the baby that was removed was incarcerated. His attorney Made him sign A document stating that he could not financially take care of the child Because he was incarcerated. I think Think this was totally wrong. The judge accepted it. The case where was ecstatic and the baby was adopted. The father was never indicated.
My first husband grew up in foster care. He was homeless when I met him. He was in a "foster youth" program that happened to be in the same building that my dad's law office used to be. I felt like it was my calling to help these post foster care youth.
Parents who have their children stolen from them by DHS are treated like criminals even though they're not convicted, like mental health patients but there's no diagnosis
Also, get rid of hearsay trial. Two or three witnesses to establish if someone is convicted of crime. And no, the caseworker who twists your words about what YOU the parent witnesses is not a witness. This should be common sense
They call it "voluntary" relinquishment of parental rights. I wouldn't call it voluntary. They call it voluntary after they've taken your child, accused you of mental illness, negligence and then you get thrown out of housing bc of their accusations.... Also you've given all your resources to child's caregiver. Then they say, "well you're homeless and dont have anything and can't take care of your own child." Then they all you to sign over your rights
Or lost your job/friends/reputation which worsens your situation sure to their accusations... Often untrue with no evidence of witnesses. First hearing for removing children is called a "hearsay trial." No witnesses needed. Just people can make up WHATEVER
We were in the process of adopting our granddaughter out of foster care. She was reintegrating into our home and was supposed to be home permanent in two weeks. The foster parents she is with have fallen in love with her and made false allegations against us. Our oldest granddaughter is bonded with the three grandchildren we have in our home. She was with us 4 days out of 7. Social services was going to Unsubstantiate it but before they could send out the findings letter, we got indicted and charged with first and second degree child abuse and a misdemeanor wanton endangerment charges. We had to close our foster care home temporarily so we can't help other children right now either. We are all devastated! We must now clear our names before we can continue with the process of getting her home. She's only 4 years old. Please make all foster parents take a psychiatric evaluation with a parenting component, as I had to take for social services. Please change the laws so that this can not happen to other families. We need transparency. Please keep us in your prayers all 🙏
