@@Murv002 What Tree Lacap said. But to clarify the question about how she saw Eric cut the rope, it's simple. There is a difference between a cut rope and a snapped rope, the former should be clean since it was cut by a knife, but the latter shouldn't. She may not see him directly, but she can assume if Eric cut the rope or not.
@@Murv002 I’m not sure about the choices since I haven’t played the game, but I’ve seen a video where both Eric and Merwin were alive, but Eric had to cut the rope. Not sure about Rachel’s survival since the video didn’t show what happened to her next.
It floors me how Nick can sleep with a married woman, get angry her husband is still trying to have a relationship with her and THEN gets pissed when the HUSBAND gets pissed at him when he figures out Rachael was sleeping with him (worth a little punch). As if the roles couldn't very easily be reversed in this situation. Not that she has a shred of innocence in this. If you don't want a mess, don't start a new relationship without ending the old one. Cheaters, man. I always try to keep Eric clean and moral and loyal so that I can imagine after they get out of that hell hole, he has grounds to outright FRY her in a divorce. Not to mention the inevitable backlash from the military. I'm pretty sure you go to prison for sleeping with someone under your command, or cheating in general. Rachael's so good of 'taking care of herself' that the pretty career everyone predicted for her probably went up in smoke when this comes out. Though I could be wrong. I'm not military.
The problem is to both of them the relationship was over, Eric and Rachel both agree to this. They didn’t divorce because of the punishment, i’m pretty sure you could get fired just for getting a divorce because they worked on a lot of the same projects. Both of them agreed the relationship ended a year ago, even when they take each other back they say things like, “I still love you” and “i’m willing to give you another chance”. Tbh Eric was the reason that marriage was that bad in the first place and after all that bs I find it hard to believe Eric would still be angry about ANY of the cheating. Like “whatever, you fucked my wife, but you also saved me from like 10 vampires and had my back whenever, I’ll get over it”. Long story short, it wasn’t technically cheating as both had thought the relationship ended, Eric was probably just pissed cause he wasn’t told about it when he first got there and he was probably jealous cause he still loved her, not because he felt like she cheated on him.
@@error8119 It was cheating! Eric didn't think nor wanted the relationship to end, Rachel did! They were still married and she was still his wife. So, yes, she cheated.
@@jassimhamid2808 no in a cutscene where she chooses Eric her and Eric both agree the relationship was over. They can’t get divorced cause they’d get fired or something due to military rules, if both she and Eric decide the relationship is over then it wasn’t cheating.
@@error8119 She decided it was over on her own, he didn't. To him it was taking a "break", otherwise why keep it from him if it was "over"? She cheated, end of story.
@awesome guy it's normal if you save her and not the others, but for me she is not stronger and this line disgusts me because we have more better than her (Hello Salim, yes you are the best character for everything you did in that fucking cave)
@awesome guy I mean: Salim uses a fucking iron bar to survive while they have guns or UV lamps and I think that's okay, especially since it doesn't kill vampires it pushes them back
@awesome guy and not just the strongest, he's also the kindest. Unlike some like his boss that I forgot his name which forces him to attack others while there are Vampires or Eric who wanted Jason to abandon Salim because he is an Iraqi (A reason I don't like Eric even if I hate Rachel) and but also must not forget that we have the choice of not attacking the Americans at the beginning and in addition he tries to cooperate with the enemy, well I do not forget especially his reason for surviving: to see again he and his son celebrated his 18th birthday, sincerely Salim is a good father in my eyes (to prevent it has been a long time since I watched House of Ash so it may be that I am wrong on some things even if this game is literally a game of choice ...)
You don't have to cut the rope and Eric can still live. There is a way to do it where Dar doesn't shoot Eric and the rope snaps anyway, but Eric lives.
@@GarlianKun What if we pressed all the QTE when Dar was shooting Eric? Does he will still got shot and fell? Or Jason and Nick will arrive and shoots Dar?
@@TheZebbsonchannel Rachel has to be sympathetic to Eric the whole time and chose him over nick as well as you need to kill off clarice and not cut the rope when Rachel is dangling from Eric
Just watch Berleezy's Playthrough or better said the Eezygang's playthrough. Though Rachel died because Jason shot her they got Eric and Rachel's Relationship saved and Nick was fine with it. Though sadly Eric fought Nick. Still ok thoe.
if youre doing the original single player, you can cut the rope and still save their marriage if the relationship stat is already high, and you choose the i still love you dialogue.
I LITERALLY GOT FIX THEIR RELATIONSHIP HOLY CRAP, i dont know what i did,y have a good relationship with eric, i tell him that rachel is with nick, i have a medium relationship with him and on the rope scene i did something rare, i did not cut the rope with eric, IN ANY TIME I DIDNT, i left merwin die, nick help eric and the rope cut, and with rach i tell him "i know you didnt cut it" and they kiss!?!? If i could, i will send you a photo. And when nick says "you have to tell him" after assault (rachel infected) with eric i said "i love you" and rachel did not go with nick?! I think mi game is maybe the most rare, i searched if someone fix their relationship and have no clue. This is weird.
I prefer to think that when Rachel cut the rope she wanted to save Eric(even if they wouldn't be together in the end). And why are so many people judging her? Eric lost his leg and became uninterested in their relationship, Rachel tried to solve it, but couldn't. It was noone's fault (accident). It's just life. And i saw, that she still loved Eric, but suffered too much because of guilt and his reserveness to stand all alone. She did bad thing but i understand. Nick and Eric should also both feel guilty.
I honestly cringe at the 'love triangle' but since its 3 weeks and i think they only had a relationship because rach was lonely and nick had a traumatic experience.
Hello guys, can someone tell how to have this extended scene (from 3:19) in the game where I can roam around the office and take control of Rachel instead of Eric in the Briefing Room. Everytime I play this game I always take control Eric in the Briefing room which is very different in this video.
Some how I got Eric and Racheal back together and I didn’t want to do because Rachels a hoe and Eric deserves better I cut the rope as Eric first chance I got granted I did forgive Eric as Rachel and during the seen where there fixing the generator I stayed silent mostly but also told him there was something else and in the scene were Eric Nick and Rach are about to into the big ass alien cave as Eric I stayed quite and she still chose to be with Eric like how did I get what I was trying not to
I just don't think these two are good for each other. Personally, I think they're better off getting divorced, but they should at least be able to be civil with each other and maintain a friendship.
