I own the old marley get together. I like it, but the loudness is not always enough and I found the treble a little harsh. Max volume is of course better than the get together. But what about the bass/treble quality?

I got the bag of riddim 2 does anybody knows how it compares?

Just got mine today. Originally had the Bag of Riddim 2, and went for an upgrade. The difference in quite minor, but I find the Bass, and Overall volume is slightly louder, and I find it’s acoustic’s quite a lot better. Battery life is amazing and quite noticeable, Bag of riddim states it has 10 hours battery life, but on full or close to full, it feels like 2-4 hours. Where as the Get Together 2 XL feels like its battery life is about 12-14 hours on Full or close to full volume. I’d say unless your Bag of riddim 2 breaking down, its not a mandatory upgrade.

Good sound, but: My Bluetooth Speaker after falling down once broken. On my request, no spare parts or repair option. Sustainability can only be achieved through circular economy and I feel screwed. Quote website: "Every Marley product shows that responsibility to the environment is taken very seriously." Such a thing is also called greenwashing and is even more disgusting than standing by one's greed for profit and, by the way, has nothing to do with Marley's values. The "support" (only reachable by mail) didn't even understand what I mean at all. I am very disappointed and can really no longer recommend these products to anyone. For JBL, on the other hand, there are many spare parts. The Marley speaker now ends up in the trash can - really sustainable, really climate-friendly.

It's all a scam. The environment is fine and we don't need companies telling us what we want. It is us who dictates to the supplier what we want. If they don't like it then they probably shouldn't be running a business.

That really sucks, i had my Marley Bag of Riddim 2 now for sth like 7 Years an it reeeeally been trough a lot , it has many cracks and bumps and scratches but it still works great (except for the batterie but after 7 Years I think thats quite understandable)
