House of the Dead Review | Riffed Movie Review 

I was 12 when this came out. My hometown had a cinema where you could also rent movies and they had this little alcove where they had the horror movies. You had to be a certain age to go in there, but my friends and I would always go in there and get freaked out by all of the movie covers. I specifically remember this one and being so terrified of it. I never actually watched the movie and now after seeing this it’s funny to think about how scared the cover made me feel versus how the movie actually is

My pet peeves from a movie, can’t hear the dialogue, but the sound effects and music are loud, plus the camera angle going in a circle! Motion sickness...Agh! No thanks! Another great upload, NewBee 💛

I enjoyed this movie a few years ago. I happen to dig bad movies and this one is just soooo bad that I found it hilarious. It does get boring at times, so I do recommend watching it with friends and/or your favorite recreational substances.

Dang, if it was Usain Bolt as the director , he wouldn't punch people, he'd just run. Much less violent. So even the Interviews were PG 13 ! Edit : JUST A WORDPLAY ON SIMILAR SOUNDING NAMES ! This movie is, at least, entertainingly awful.

I think this movie is entertaining to be honest. Bad? Yeah, but watchable

There is a “funny version” of this movie. A “funny version” and it’s twice as bad. It shows some Behind The Scenes footage, annoying speech bubble pop ups, unnecessary sound effects, Boll Sack with his constant phone calls and blaming the actors and writers. And the use of the so called “Man-o-meter”

Was terrible,but fun. Just take some boxing classes before criticizing the director, sure you will be challenged 😊 Also, your rating will improve with alcohol.

This movie was so terrible. Some friends and I rented and watched Ewe Boll’s horrendous attempt at giving fan service. His best films are the Rampage trilogy

I remember playing this game at Arcades, I remember being so disappointed when this movie came out. It was so CHEESY, but it ended up becoming a guilty pleasure. Lol😅

Tl; dr just have to tell anyone who doesn't know that this guy has openly admitted on video that a) he makes bad movies due to a tax loophole in his country for movie flops and b) he's an asshole to anyone that has anything to say about it because he believes you're clearly just jealous cuz he's so smart 🙄 Rant; I can't remember if it was your channel or not that I said this on earlier this week but after finding out about it I simply can't let it go. I need everyone to know cuz it frustrates me in a way I don't quite understand. This isn't a guy who for the love and passion of film making makes movies and unfortunately just isn't very good at it. No, I can forgive that. This is someone who found a loop hole to barely trying to enrich himself, and for it to work we all have to suffer. Ips that fans always hoped for films of ruined. The good name of true artists and creatives etc having their good names drug through the mud. Well Jurgen Prochnow is a hell of a captain, he brought U 96 back to base after a damned patrol just to sink in dock an die while witnessing it. Ahh Das boot what a movie, this not so mutch.

Another atack against the cinema from mr Boll, and the spanish of that captain was horrible. The way the game footage was used is too much, even with 11 years i founded it ridiculous.

Looks like a decent movie to watch when you don’t want to watch a good movie. Hubby and I love watch bad movies with cliches, bad audio, or campy acting. Just helps us appreciate when we watch a wonderful movie

Amusing review as always, although personally I don't have any issues with the movies made by Uwe Boll, as it gives me a chance to unplug my brain for 90 minutes. So this movie, Bloodrayne, Alone in the Dark, all I found enjoyable. Personally when it actually comes to early versions of House of the Dead and Alone in the Dark, I actually enjoyed the movies and storyline more than the actual gameplay as well.
