@@Ashbrash1998 Drogon definitely didn't listen to Dany as he got older and bigger, but Rhagal and Viserion listened way more. Drogon proved that the Targ's control of dragons is indeed an illusion, but their bond is strong. But when there was some intimidation to be done, Drogon was certainly down for the cause lol he listened then!

They made a point when talking about how many dragons they have that none of the ones on the black side have any kind of combat experience. @Kaladins I think they mean that it’s reductive to invalidate the pain and suffering Alicent has been through. Both she AND Rhaenyra suffer under a patriarchal system of governance, and both loose so much. Alicent however; -Looses her mother. -Forced to seduce the father of her childhood BEST FRIEND. -Consistently manipulated by her father. -Is lied to by the one person she actively goes out of her way to aid. -Is forced as a human baby factory, and is treated like a cum processor rather than a person. -Has her second youngest child, her child loose an eye over family drama. -Looses her deepest connection. (Rhaenyra who Alicent loved most.) -And then looses her husband, who while far older, it’s clear she did love him. Both characters are the product of their previous generation, and both fuck up a multitude of times. Invalidating Alicent’s suffering is just like overlooking Rhaenyra’s, it misses the whole point of their conflict. Both of them are the same, both are being forced into morally complicated and very akward situations due to the schemes of others, and their lack of preparedness.

i think subtitles may have also covered the translations which can make it difficult to see both dragons are not playing. I had this problem as well.

It’s not about the 7 kingdoms or Westeros, it’s the house of the dragon. It starts with Aegon the conqueror, then his two sisters, then their heir and so on until Aegon II’s 3 kids and Daemon’s 2 sons.

When I saw that I said they are gonna use that for Aegon’s Conquest seasons. But since they said they plan to show the whole history and not just the Dance in HOT D, they may keep the same blood of Valyria theme.

Exactly. He was never supposed to be a good guy and the show made that perfectly clear. He is the monster that Rhaenyra needs, tho. Ruthless, unpredictable and intelligent, extremely capable as a fighter and general and arguably the best dragonrider at this point in the story.

One of the few times I thought she could have been an effective Queen. Everything before this has been her stumbling or making mistakes; but that was proof she could've had the Realm's interest at heart ultimately.

in the books dany finds out pretty fast dragons are different...most animals try to run from danger.....dragons instead turn around and face any enemy on the spot.... also she cant controll them....in the book she has small sucess of ordering him flying a bit left or right but mostly drogon decided where he wanted to go
