@obdiane (Shamonda) We can only "assume" that he told them to do that- due to the scene was cut after they asked; "What if we do not find him (Aemond)?"... We've watched it at least 3 times to make sure that it was never spoken. We all know that Aemond doesn't back down... and I do feel that that was his instruction as well, but HOTD loves keeping us speculating if scenes are cut after a question has been asked. We also realized that Queen Helena also looked at the very crib that her boy (the heir) slept when she declared what she was afraid of; "The rats." Pointing to Cheese. And the fact that she talks and listens to rodents that she was able to convince Cheese by just looking into his eyes that she was telling the truth. This is too good to miss one conversation. And we know from S1 that Queen Helena is a "Seer" and that she predicts events to come. Thanks for stopping by to comment.

@@welp3694Actually no. Condal said they weren’t going to let that shot stay but Matt’s face was so good it let it linger and it was open to interpretation. Matt Smith denies it. They’re going to humanise him again anyway.

I love Auntie Rhae Rhae and that scene with Jace reporting back to mom just hits me in the gut, deeply.

But what took place in the sky was far above what "control" they assumed they had over their own dragons. ​@FMD70757 incorrect. We know a lot about private lives from the book. One example: in the book, Rhaenyra asks Daemon to take her to the pleasure house. She wants to learn how to seduce Cole. But Cole rejects her, and she runs off and sleeps with Harwin Strong. Another example: the reason Otto hates Daemon is he believes Daemon took her virginity. The problem with the book is that it was written after the fact based on unreliable sources. The show is supposed to be what really happened. The problem is any time the show makes a change, it makes the Blacks look good and the Greens look bad.

I can't blame it on the dragons. He knew he couldn't control her but went after Luke anyway. And Luke's dragon was just defending its self when it snipped at Vaegar🤷

@Brenda (Shamonda) I understand that you want him to be alive, but if you go back and watch the episode, his head went into the dragon's mouth. His cape and torso were seen falling from the sky while Aemond watched. It was gruesome, that baby didn't have to die like that. Besides it wasn't against Lucarys and Aemond it was literally between the dragons. Neither of the boys had control over their dragons. Yes, go back and watch and also listen to the conversations that were going on in the 1st season. If we know well enough, all that occurred in the 1st season will be the foundation of what's to come. Even to the meeting with Corlys and Daemon sitting by the fireplace discussing their position and ranking in their own bloodline/family and the strength they possess. It's so good ... Take care.
