The woman he saw with the white hair pouring drinks was his wife who killed herself in child birth by dragon fire season 1.

Rhaenys and Meleys died with honor. We saw they could've left, but its war time. If she and her dragon can do more, they will at any cost.

Aegon was placed on the throne and he’s basically a figurehead. He has no REAL authority. It’s irony at its finest.

Hope Emma D'arcy is in everything after this, so damn good!

You guys should also remember that Aegon was never MEANT to be King. He had no formal training whatsoever and as such is very much clueless about everything. When Aegon was made aware that he was going to be named king, recall that he ran away and hid. At that moment he knew he didn't want the throne because he wasn't prepared for it. He only grew to like it at his coronation when people cheered after anything he did. Anyways hope y'all are enjoying the show! And if you feel like the characters piss you off then give props to the actors for getting you guys to feel SOMETHING for their characters! If you guys go on to watch Game of Thrones, there will be characters in that show you will ABSOLUTELY LOVE to hate! Cheers y'all!

A friendly fyi regarding the 80 years of peace. It includes the years of peace from the previous king. Viserys was 52 at his death and had ruled for 26. PS - really glad you decided to cover this series.

Vhagar and Meleys (Rhaenys dragon) were the dragons of Daemon and Viserys's parents. Nana Vhagar is not only the oldest dragon but her battle experience is extensive.

You can tell the difference in battle styles between the 3. The brothers don't really have one except for dracarys. Meleys knew to use her claws to bleed the other two, inflicting damage.

The white haired woman daemon was hallucinating was his late wife, Laena Velaryon. She was Vhagar’s rider before Aemond. She ordered Vhagar to burn her bc she was struggling in childbirth. Daemon & Laena’s kids are Baela and Rhaena

A show that can make me care enough about dragons going down, and genuinely devastated watching it, is doing something very very right.

These guys aren’t paying close enough attention to the show. That woman in Daemon’s dream was Laena Velaryon, his previous wife that died. And Alyn is obviously Corlys Velaryon’s bastard son. Wish they’d take this show a bit more seriously tbh

I dig the show detailing Aemond and Vhagar have to sneak kill Rhaenys and Meleys. It's the only way he and his old a$$ dragon can do any damage.

I don’t think Aegon is dead. Amond was about to finish the job but Cole stopped him. I think Aegon will be very badly injured, possibly burned to a crisp.

Aegon did bully Aemond relentlessly his whole life, so I can't say I'm super surprised by what he did from that standpoint too.

Probably the most epic thing I've ever seen on tv. I was worried how they would make dragon battles look cool and not tacky. They absolutely pulled it off. This show is like a 200 million dollar art project.

Oh, Hector. If Daemon died right there, Rhaenyra would lose the war. She doesn't have an army even. He's in Harrenhal to get it for her. You realize she married him to be feared, right? Daemon Targaryen is the most feared man in Westeros.

In response to hector, the show runners said this conflict will be around 3-4 seasons. SUPER light spoilers, but based on the book it seems they will end the conflict around 3/4ths of the way through the final season and spend the last few episodes on the aftermath which is called The Hour of The Wolf although that’s not certain. There’s potential the show may continue into future conflicts from the book like the Blackfyre rebellion but that’s just speculation.

Rhaenys was sent by Queen Rhaenyra to protect the people of Rooks Rest in this Battle. Just because Vhagar shows up to fight it doesn't mean the Battle is over. If Rhaenys had fled back to Dragonstone, running away from the Battle and Abandoning the people of Rooks Rest, Rhaenyra's claim would be viewed as weak. Like Queen Rhaenyra runs away when things get tough. That's the simple answer for Rhaenys's suicide mission. Put even simpler, there were still people to protect. By the Queen 👑 Who *ALWAYS* Was 💔 ❤️

That’s one thing that was missing in the first season. Showing the kids meeting there hatched dragon. Then there first time flying. Also I feel it would be awesome to see how both rider/dragon train in the air. Like is there a training area for them to practice there flying in and burn attack as well as in air maneuvering. Seeing that would have been amazing

Rest In Peace Princess Rhaenys Targaryen, the Queen Who Should Have Been and Meleys, the Red Queen! Fierce and brave until the very end. Their bond was so strong and it made it even more heartbreaking when they died together. 🖤❤️ They will be missed!! It's heartbreaking to watch the dragons fight and kill each other thanks to the dumb humans who can't live in peace over a stupid chair made of swords (it's probably not even comfortable to sit on) and power (always power). 😭💔 Poor Sunfyre was not prepared for Meleys. 🥺 Aegon is a stupid drunk who deserves to die from his recklessness (by his brother who wants revenge for all the bullying) but not Sunfyre! Such a sweet and innocent dragon. Aegon's ONLY good relationship/bond and he f**ks it up. 😭 Aegon's fall will absolutely be blamed on Rhaenys and ultimately Rhaenyra/the Blacks. Aemond and Criston will spin it to their advantage. 🙄 The battle between the dragons was intense and magnificent to watch, and it was clear it wouldn't end well for Rhaenys if she stayed, which she of course did. #TeamBlackAndRedQueens

GRRM wanted to make sure the dragons were all a bit different in size, color or form particularly for HOTD cuz they definitely didn't have much differences in Game of Thrones! There were only 3 dragons back then!! Funny that we were all excited to see the dragons battle but we do feel a bit sad for them cuz as you say It's not their fault most times cuz they just do what they're told to do!😢 Great reaction! 🙂

Aegon story is sad on one side. He was tryign to be good and helpful king from begining, but Otto and others always changed his mind and now they going around him even in the small council. He lost his son because of his brother actions. His acting is great

Dragons are not forced to fight they do what they will, whilst they do have a life bond with their rider and respond to commands they are still of their own minds and do what they feel is right to themselves and their rider, As we saw in season 1 witth Aemond and Vhagar killing Lucerys, that was Vhagars choice to do that not Aemond's.

Honestly, I feel bad for Aegon. He never wanted to be king, he was never prepared for anything. A couple of episodes, he was trying to be generous to his people, but the hand was like nahhhhh. He’s just a kid who just wants to get drunk and bang.

To be fair Aegon didn’t wanna be king because they forced him to and he grew to like feeling loved because he never got it as a child and you can tell from the first episode with the sheep farmer and steel workers that his instincts is to be nice but all these kids are effed, pretty much everyone of their family members have failed them especially green side , but ole dude is still an immature child that wasn’t given any guidance and had his kids head chopped off so him acting the way he does and his mom and Otto being suprised is wild , they failed him and wanna play victim not sayin he’s a good person but atleast he’s not purely evil little ass like Joffery was

I think the reason Aegon is so upset about not being listened to is because as Corlys once said "History doesn't remember blood, it remembers names." If he sits back and does nothing all everyone will speak about is how great Cole was in battle and how formidable Ameond was on Vhagar - just like they were saying at the council meeting before he left. He will be forgotten in history if he cannot make a notable contribution. I actually felt bad for him. He didn't want this, he never did. They never even trained him secretly to do the job correctly if they wanted him to have it. And now they belittle him for not knowing enough. He only started wanting to be King during the coronation because the people applauded and praised him, something he never got at home from his family. Alicent is a terrible mother. She didn't even comfort him when his son died and now when she actually speaks to him it is only to make him feel useless and worthless. I know people say that is because she got that from her father but that's not true because other people can go through those same experiences and choose to be much better as parents than their own parents were to them. Simply because they understand how bad it made them feel growing up in a household like that - they overcompensate for it. She is cruel because she wants to be nothing more.

The only green I like is Aemond. Alicent hates her kids. I liked how Jucerys stood up to Rhaneyra and she let him in front of the council to establish his place as heir. Why did i cry over a death of a dragon??😭😭...also, the battlefield scenes after, all the ash that were people, smoke, fire, people walking in shock...just shows when Rhaneyra said she is unleashing this and she dont just want it over a crown. This is like seeing the nuclear bomb being used the first time.

Drogon still the best looking dragon they have ever done. Specifically when Jon meets him and Danny on the cliff. I'm pretty sure they got a real dragon for that scene.

Not exactly a spoiler, but Aegon survives the flames and fall, as seen in the preview too, and it's gonna take awhile for him to somewhat mobile again.

Vhagar’s two wins both being fast sneak attacks doesn’t sit well with me. She’s the largest, slowest, oldest dragon. She wouldn’t even be able to forseeable hide from Rhaenys on the coast (look at the scene when her dragon is flying below the cliff). Just lazy scene plotting like the hidden scorpions on the wide open ocean in GOT.

none of the characters are dark skinned in the source material so any time they make sus comments about appearances its not really meant to be racist. they just chose to make some of the characters black without really thinking that much about the implications for certain parts of the story/certain lines they wrote.
