Targaryens are not immune to fire! That was a one time magical miracle for Dany. They can be burned and fire will kill them. They have a higher heat tolerance than most people, like enjoying a scalding bath, but they are not fire proof.

“Princess Rhaenys made no attempt to flee. With a glad cry and a crack of her whip, she turned Meleys toward the foe.” - Fire & Blood. Rhaenys Targaryen and her dragon Meleys not backing down and bravely facing Vhagar. Princess Rhaenys could have escaped Ifs he wanted to. Meleys is faster than Vhagar and Caraxes. Rhaenys chose to stay because she saw and she knew she had the chance to injure Vhagar and somewhat incapacitate her and Aemond to fight in the future even at the expense of her and Meleys life.

Arguably the greatest episode of the series so far because every scene mattered. I wouldn’t say criston Cole is a villain, criston is just the villains to the blacks which happen to be our protagonist. If we look at body count Rhaenys is more evil than criston considering how many innocents she killed in episode 9. Rhaenys plan was to win the battle she didnt expect both dragons to be there n the reason y Rhaenys didn’t retreat because the reward was well worth the risk. RIP my favorite live action female Targaryen.

Just to be clear, Targaryens are NOT Fireproof this is Dany exclusive. In the Books Dany is not even fireproof in general the hatching of her eggs was a unique magical event.

Im not sure what Aegons train of thought was here, they were obviously going to send a larger dragon if they were going to send one, if Jacerys went instead of Rhaenys, maybe he could have won, but Meleys was far to big and experienced for a smaller, young dragon like Sunfyre, whose never been to war. Even Aemond and Vhagar lost their initial encounter with Rhaenys and Meleys, Aegon had no hope.

@seanking1775 even so, if Rhaenys and Meleys weren't distracted with Sunfyre, I think they could have given Vhagar and Aemond a run for their money, though no doubt, still losing, Vhagars size and experience is undeniable in a battle between dragons.

sunfyre and aegon are alive but very badly wounded. aegon will definitely not forgive this to his brother in the series. in the books meleys faces both of them. here they will nerf her and aegon too for being drunk. literally here sunfyre while fighting meleys had to endure vaghar. poor sunfyre 2 dragons wounded him.and he is a very young dragon.
