It was becoming obvious last episode and even more so this episode that nothing significant would occur this season with regard to any more battles. I’m fine with it. This season has been amazing

I dont mind these slow episodes if they do plan to do 4 seasons then the last 2 should be action packed 😊

at around 4:45 it is a shot of Helaena and aemond on a balcony of some sort, with what looks like a bit of a gap in the middle. With Aemond wanting Helaena to mount dreamfyre and most likely Helaena saying she can't. I wonder if Aemond will push her off to her death to free up Dreamfyre for another rider????

The season *should* end with the battle of the Gullet, but methinks they are just gonna tease it for the start of Season 3 when the producers hope to have more HBO money.

Hugh's wife is going to be at tumbleton I hope they give him blood on his hands but, in all likelihood he will be the moral voice that fails to stop ulf.

Definitely a step down from the first season. The issue is that there’s almost no interaction between the factions and the main characters. The first season had Viscerys as the through line which held the factions close together

I’m really enjoying how all the dragons have been claimed even though I’m excited to see the battles with the dragons but not thrill to see some of these dragons die after what happen earlier on. Riders have a deep bond with their dragons . Losing them is tough .

In retrospect, no one is going to complain about pacing. It's a perfect two season binge so far

They said awhile back when filming season two there wouldnt be a long wait anymore lol I took that as they filled both season 2 and 3 together. If we have to wait two years then I can wait. My enthusiasm isn't as great anymore because how long we waited and this season was alright for how long we waited so mehhh.

I think the carriage going away from the city could be Larys transporting Aegon to Dragonstone after the sack of King’s Landing.

That looks an awful lot like the spectacular Abigail Thorn of Philosophy Tube as Sharako Lohar, dragging Jason Lannister through the mud. That alone is worth watching the next episode for.

Am I the only one that kind of feels sorry for Vhaegar. She seems to just want to rest and eat. She looks so old and like she’s in pain and her awful rider just uses her as a tool in his silly war plans. Poor girl.

Ulf flew to Kingslanding in the episode 7 but I see him seated at the head of the table in the new trailer... Perhaps he may side with the greens and betray Rhaenyra. I also think there's a possibility the greens may hold onto Hugh's wife and manipulate him at some point. Perhaps force him to burn her with them?

i'm stunned at how LITTLE blood has been shed this season.

I don't mind if it's all build up as season 3 should be chaos in that case. I was worried they were gonna have the fall of King's Landing before the Gullet but it seems like the first few episodes of season 3 ought to be crammed full of big moments.

From what I've been able to gather, Season 3 is confirmed, and early early production is underway. All the main cast should be back. Production is likely to take one or two years. And there is the strong possibility of a fourth season. I got all this by searching through what I assume are reasonably reliable online sources.

In the books, the 2,000 graybeards discover a huge supply of Just For Men on the march south, and they show up to Harrenhall looking considerably younger.

He will have more of a Hightower look; and, they're wanting his viewing to be a big "WOW" moment... Especially since Alicent carried on in the manner she did with Rhaenyra when her first set of children from Laenor was born, in season one... And to also make it appear that he was sent by Otto to live in Old-Town with the Hightowers, with attempts in "hiding" him from the masses, while Viserys was alive, because of his non-Targaryen features... Alleging, Alicent and Ser Cole have been having an affair for years... 4:50 Allegedly, Aemond have gotten as far as he did because he's the only one that's aware of Helaena's dragon dreams; and, he's been using her dreams to guide him through the war... Also, it's said that Helaena will have a little more of a stronger role than was written in the books; so, she'll be around a little longer than was written...

I think that town was burned by Vhagar and Aemond in some kind of revenge, maybe some town in the Riverlands. But it would be fun seeing for example Vermithor & Silverwing burning Storm's End, although I don't think that's the case.

It just dawned on me, if Rheana is taking the nettles storyline, that will be the justification for the Queen to be angry at her and want her dead. When she finds out her sons were killed, she’ll blame Rheana for deserting them since she made her swore to protect the boys. Dereliction of duty. It will also drive a stronger wedge between Deamond and her, bc he wouldn’t want his daughter to be murdered on order of his wife. It will also pay off the vision of Daemon’s late wife asking “are you looking after our daughters?”

What i find strange ist that Rhaenira had to look for Bastards to ride other dragons in order to use them in her war. But Dhanaeris hat also two dragons whitout riders who fought for her whithout the need of a rider. Would have saved Rhaenira of the upcoming betrayal of the bastards

Like last season how Aemond attacked Lucerys in the last shot of the season finale.. This season he will kill Helena in the last shot of the season finale episode. Camera will be stopped at Aemond's face.. perfect finale for people to be sad like last season we were with Lucerys.

I think the 2 dragons in the beginning are Vermax and Moondancer. They look too small foe one to be Vermithor.

Daeron is Allicent's 4th child and youngest son. Her 3rd child and 2nd son is Aemond. If Tessarion had just taken to wing, wouldn't Daeron be as green a dragonrider as the dragonseeds?

i have a strong idea on the next episode and correct me if im wrong but the city/castle on fire is possibly SharpPoint which lies just to the south of driftmark across the gullet. Reason I say this is because House Bar Emmon supported Princess Rhaenys Targaryen in the Great Council. Lord Bar Emmon was also a member of Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen's black council during the Dance of the Dragons. Lord Bar Emmon suggested for Rhaenyra to bend the knees to King Aegon II Targaryen, but the queen dismissed his advice. Also seeing Ormand HighTower's army being overflow by nonother than Daeron and the she-dragon Tessarion possibly means we might see the battle of Honeywine which would possible take place just East of Honeyholt. i have my thoughts on who might win but ill let you decide that.

That is not Vhagar in the final shot. The dragon is too small and slender to be Vhagar. It's probably Sheepstealer

Really hope the finale is a good one, considering many of us know what happened in the books and the trailer appears to only be a setup/cliffhanger for next season. But I’m optimistic. This season has been really good!!

Can someone besides me please talk about how Rhaena is seriously abandoning the heirs to the throne that she was directed to protect and raise to feed her ego-driven need to go after a dragon? That's obviously a setup for what happens to the kids, but the show runners better not let her off the hook for that blatant dereliction of duty. She had the most important job of all of Team Black and treated it like it was beneath her, not to mention using two little kids as her emotional dumpsters to whine at the whole time about how she didn't want to be near them.

im fine with the build up. It sucks when you are watching and waiting for new releases but it makes for a better story if you watch it later all at once.
