Congratulations. Great of you to be the 1st. Don’t forget to show the spine. If they start sending you more, you might get overwhelmed. Soon they’ll send you double dustjackets so you can compare the variants for your viewers.

As someone who is new to comics I am happy to see that there is a new X-men reboot that I can get into from the beginning and it looks like the story will actually be good. Marvel has been cringe level bad over the past few years so who knows how long this X-men series will last before it gets bad but so far X-men and xforce has been well received.

Gem's grin in the thumbnail says it all. It's cool to see how much this channel has grown since I've been following it and ya'll making connections with the big publishers. Congrats Gem and Phie on all the success and here's to many more good years with the channel.

Looks beautiful! The art as well know was superb, however the graphic art is incredible as well.

I just read it... OUTSTANDING! You can figure out which issue you are reading. At tbe beginning of each chapter there is a square next to the "house of x" / "powers of x" so you can figure out which title you read at the time

You deserve the recognition by them man! Definitely my favorite comic book channel

I am very happy they put it in the chronological order of the books, as well as showing all the variant covers. This is a definite MUST get for any X fans.

AMAZON has this book but only with this cover for pre-order for $42.00 which I was happy to buy and now waiting for.I wanted the other cover because I think it looks cool but was not available on Amazon.Is available on other sites but for the full $60.00 price.

I brought the single isues, because i loved some of the variants. Also I love the symbol's which are an alphabet, and if you retailer gave you a set of cards, you can decode the messages, a bit like what Paul Levitz did on LOSH. Thanks for the review, Might pick it up and replace the single issues.

FYI, if you're buying the trades make sure you get the dawn of x ones. The trades for the individual titles aren't in order and they won't make any sense. I have no idea what Marvel was thinking.

I got a question, there are a Panini Version and a Marver Comics version of this book. According to Amazon, the Panini Version has, like, 100 more pages. Can someone explain to me if they are different?

I really loved this series. In my opinion it might be the book of the year. I bought multiple copies of both series and some variants. I am debating about whether I should get the hardcover or wait for the tpb. On occassion I will buy a series in hardcover that I have in singles. I expect it to sell out since a lot of fans decided to wait for the HC which is totally understandable considering that it was a weekly series. I am pretty sure that we will see this book reprinted in multiple formats over the next five years. I bet there is an omnibus coming next year. If an X-Men movie is announced as I expect it will be then the damn floodgates will open and Marvel will reprint old and create new books. Great review.

I missed out on House of X #1. Couldn't find it anywhere. I thought I'd wait for the trade, but the hardcover looks really nice.

GMC, this was a magnificent mini-series from Jonathan Hickman and seeing it collected as a hardcover just before the end of the calendar year is awesome. It was an excellent touch for Marvel to collect the book in reading order so the story unfolds seemlessly as intended. Pepe Larraz and R.B. Silva are two of the best artist at Marvel and it's great that the two of them got to work in tandem on a game changing story like House of X/Powers of X, hopefully we get to see Pepe Larraz and R.B. Silva on even more prominent titles soon. I agree 100% with you Gem, I think this is a must have Hardcover edition. Great video as usual, GMC.

Looks like a great book but not sure how i am going to buy the xmen, maruders, fallen angels etc that follow this book. Would it be better to buy all the 1st issues in one volume or buy each title that contains 6 issues of one title? Do you need to read every xmen title currently coming out to full understand the story?

I cant wait to pick this up. Will finally be able to read it all together.
