House Oversight Subcommittee Holds Hearing on UFOs

so ..anything of decent value can not be discussed at this meeting...only inn a private skiff or whatever...which basically means we are no wiser than before

I guess my take from it all is if "they" can do all that is said how is it a threat to our military or civilian aircraft? It's beyond our capabilities. If "they" wanted to end us it would have happened already...

Total skeptic, me. Until a week long Incident Commander training session 20 yrs ago in El Paso. I'd never attended such before, but was asked to become an IC (about 30 some odd people in the room being trained.) Our instructor, from out of town, had a lengthy career of command experience under his belt, gave excellent examples of disasters gone worse due to IC mistakes at the scene, correct way to handle such, etc. So, the day before our last day, when we do real world exercise, after four, eight hour long days of instruction and table top exercises, our serious, experienced instructor, in his final example of what kind of incidents we might handle, tells our room of mostly serious middle aged men, from various law enforcement, fire, ems and other agencies, how to handle an alien spacecraft landing. Got to give him credit - he presented in such a manner that invited no ridicule. He was as serious as he had been the entire week. My first reaction to the topic introduction was annoyance: suddenly this professional, excellent instructor was now wasting our time and insulting our intelligence. The vast distances of space, coupled with the fact that even if one were to travel at the speed of light, the closer one gets to that speed, mass expands, which destroys vehicle and ship. We can not visit them nor they us. I love Star Trek, but know it's science fiction. Time's precious, and he's now wasting ours. Kept my mouth shut of course. Hid my annoyance. Our instructor proceeded to teach us about how to handle an alien space ship landing, what immediately we need to do, whom to contact in this situation with the same seriousness as he had every incident he'd discussed. But unlike those, where he gave cities, dates, he did not provide city nor date. But he emphasized the need to get the area secured, keep the public out, not allow anyone to draw a weapon onto the space ship, not allow anyone to take any stance that could look like an aggressive posture, because, he said, they could be killed by the occupants in the alien ship, defending themselves. As he explained all that he did, it appeared that he knew of a real incident in which someone had been killed, but knew he could not tell us where nor when that incident occurred (as he had done with all the other incidents.) Upshot: we were a group of El Pasoans chosen to learn Incident Command during a week long, 40 hour training. We had an excellent, experienced person brought in from out of town to instruct us. He was professional, serious and as annoyed as I initially was that he had suddenly switched to being a time waster, he in fact, was not wasting our time. He meant business. From then on, for the first time ever, I began to look at any witness evidence from military or trusted civilian sources (pilots, law enforcement) whenever they made the news. Though I still think much that is said is actually military counter intelligence (as this man Grusch may be a counterintelligence plant, as he's provided no evidence), I no longer think that an alien craft landing is simply impossible nonsense, due to that Incident Command training. And as time passed, I concluded about 15 years ago that a campaign of softening up the public had been at hand, to get the public used to the idea, before eventual disclosure.

For those of us who've kept up with this topic, this hearing was a little disappointing... Nothing new so far.

I believe everything being said, wholly. I grew up out on Great Plains on agricultural & old prairie land in Minnesota. The land was quiet and endlessly dark and open. Nothing obstructed the skies. At least twice around my 16th year, I saw things I cannot explain nor could current science. On one occasion I was sitting up on our farm’s roof with my best friend at time and a long and I mean LONG set of white/yellow hovering lights appeared above us but also over the entire exactly straight Line of entire sky in a straight line. It literally stretched so far it could not be a craft and it frightened us but as we sort of quick scurried off roof where we were smoking sneaked cigs the lights seemed to react to our movement and left faster than you can explain and it literally was like watching lights go from one horizon to the entire other horizon faster than about a single blink. It was impossible speed & impossible size & I still don’t believe it was a craft but a ton of individual lights appearing, organized. Within that year I was going to bed one night in our upstairs looking out of woods where our horses were and same lights appeared. It was WAY closer than last time and more reactive. This time it scared me someone more than the first time because it was right over our woods/pasture & moving towards house. When I turned the light and went to windows, it again disappeared faster than one can fathom and with such span of size it wouldn’t have been possible. Although individual lights they all seemed to work together and went again, from edge of sky to other edge of sky & that’s a loooooong stretch to see it out over prairies. Nothing can move that fast and then just like that, totally gone. I’ll never forget those two.

Why is Grusch there? He can't answer anything so wtf put him up there. We want DISCLOSURE! The only person that tried to ask detailed questions was 1:45:15 he was asking questions I want answers to.

The two pilots were very credible. However, Mr. Grusch is obviously someone who is well rehearsed, well practised and arrogant in his belief that his dramatic performance could sway anyone. He comes across as very insincere.

Great to see this. It's perfectly fine to be reasonably skeptical & demand more solid evidence to substantiate these claims. But it's also logically reasonable to keep an open mind & consider the mathematical probability that alien lifeforms & UFOs are indeed real. I say let's continue to search for the truth, whatever it may be, in good faith.
