@@RexBanner_ That's what martin's character bilal said after someone told play that the toilet was broken. In the first movie someone clogged up play's parents house bathroom.
It's funny to me that nobody questions how a freshman in college managed to get Ralph Tresvant (Who was one of the hottest singles artists at the time along with being in one of the hottest groups of the time) to play their party? Just "Oh look, Ralph Tresvant. That's dope".
@mpm2010lbc Yo I'm 24 and the '90's is THE BEST era of music. I mean in one decade we had Tupac, Biggie, Boyz II Men, Jodeci, Dru Hill, Busta Rhymes, Outkast, Shai, Silk, Ralph Tresvant (Solo Career), Immature, TLC, SWV, Jade I could go all day but the point is I LOVE THE 90's era of music.
The movie was released by New Line Cinema, so they own the rights to this version of the song. The soundtrack was released by Motown. Most likely the 2 companies couldn't agree on $$$$, so when the House Party 2 soundtrack came out, Motown had to produce a different version of Yo Baby Yo.
Man, I wish I was old enough to be there when they filmed this scene, I would've loved to been an extra in this scene. They looked like they had a good time and was partying for real.
Tamisha Latimore you’d have to rip this scene from the movie if you really want it. Like the other person said it was filmed live so we will never ever have it lol. You gotta watch the movie over and over for it. 🤣
I’ve searched high & low for it lol. This is the closest I’ve gotten. 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ watching this scene wld make anyone want to dance. I wish I cldve been able to be an extra just to party lol
26 years later and all of us are still wondering where THIS version of the song is!!!! Anyone know if this is on the vinyl/single release? Would love to play this at parties. New Jack Swing at its finest.
Hey guys I found the vinyl in Malaysia one year Snapped it up Brought it home to Australia in the biggest hopes to finally have this Version …. Sad it wasn’t it but overall that album is straight fire. Always takes me back to watching this movie growing up … Might remix it !
Man, I been calling myself looking for this version for damn near 12 YEARS! Figured I'd never find it back to three years ago, if this was the only way they recorded it. At that time I just converted this clip to an audio file, sucked it up and drove around bumpin' it. I didn't give a damn!! Lol I just love this jazzier version so much better. DAMN DAMN DAMMMMMN kmsl
S/O to Big lez (Woman in Red lingerie) met her in DC at BET when my aunt worked there! Love me some Ralph Tresvant! ''Yo baby, Yo baby, Yo''! #Memorable90s
I heard goons still shot parties up and started fights back then.... only difference is least back then ppl went to dance and party rather than smoke hookah and stare at each other...
this version should been released !!!!!!!!!!! its only on the movie someone needs to interview ralph and asked him what happined to this incredible version of the song
@peteymac10 It is definitely a better generation. Good music, good times and good fun. This is when music was real, was original and didn't all sound the same like today's music. Each artist had a distinct quality. I feel bad for you guys today having to grow up in an era of crappy music that all sounds the same. I still think that people under 25 have ALOT to learn.
I bought the soundtrack after hearing this song. Was kinda jibbed that this version was not on there!!!! If someone can make it that would be awesome!!!
The fact that Ralph and Kid pajamas are the ones ppl recreate but not Play pajamas. Think this my favorite house party movie❤❤🥰❤️❤️(pewee nem have me dead everytime)💀😭😭😭
the white guy with the dreads is Kamron from the 90s rap group Young Black Teenagers. no one in the group was black. they had a most excellent first album
