I know we talk about Curtin, Chifley, Whitlam and Hawke as Labor PMs, but by crikey, Keating was the best orator and performer at the despatch box in our Parliament’s history. We’ve had some others, but none even nearly as good.

Imagine you're at a family dinner, and everyone's arguing over who gets the last slice of pizza, but instead of pizza, they're arguing about tax policies and government spending. It's like a heated game of Monopoly with real money!

I notice in your title you list Paul Keating as the Acting Prime Minister. I think Lionel Bowen is actually the Acting Prime Minister in this video. One may note him seated in the typical chair of the prime minister. Paul Keating is the Treasurer, and the Acting Prime Minster refers certain questions to him regarding taxation and economic affairs. But Keating did not succeed Bowen as Deputy Prime Minister until 1990.

Hey, I watch many of the videos uploaded by various youtubers of question times during this era. How do you find them?

We get these videos from ParlView. You can find it here: parlview.aph.gov.au/. Certain parts of older sittings have not yet been digitised and are unavailable. There are unfortunately no recordings from sittings held in what is now Old Parliament House on ParlView.

@@mattc2094 They're available on ParlView. They're just listed by parts. My advice is looking at House videos which includes 2:00 pm, which is when Question Time starts. I haven't seen this before but some searching on Hansard makes me think this is the 14 May 1991 House sitting. I've uploaded the speeches of Dr John Hewson and Bob Hawke on RU-vid as an unlisted video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cZDixW_WOCQ.html (23:56) Maybe that specific censure motion, question time, and sitting will be published on this channel later this year.
