This film is the result of a collaboration between artists Rita Castenheira, Emily Mulenga and members of Firstsite’s young-people peer-led group, YAK (Young Art Kommunity).
Each member of YAK created an avatar of themselves using the computer game ‘The Sims’. The avatars were then made to inhabit spaces which represent the group's homes during lockdown, both physically and emotionally.
