This House exudes Sophistication and glamour....yet quite reserved. Timothy has the mixture of old and contemporary elements that make the project seem as if it's evolved over time. The end result is pure magic! His taste is unparalleled! Old money, quiet luxury, comfort, style, glamor all mixed together in a wonderful potion! Thank you for continuing to share and inspire!
Absolutely Magnificent... WOW... Timothy Corrigan certainly pulled out all of the stops on this design!!! The MILLWORK... Lord have mercy, be still my heart ❤❤❤
i've not seen a designer more in tune with my own aesthetics. comfort, use, someone not afraid of color and juxtaposition. although i don't see myself back in LA, a townhouse in NYC might be in the near future. Mr. Corrigan would be at the top of the list...
I only recently discovered Timothy Corrigan’s work and was delighted to see that he was featured here. There are no words to adequately describe this man’s talent! Everything he touches is pure magic. As a lover of old homes, I esp love how he added some much needed architectural details to this house. It made all the difference and really enhanced all the other design elements he added. Opulent luxury is what comes to mind when I view his work😊
I have a little 630 square foot cottage home and it was built 1920 without architectural details, saddens me🤷....the details in this beautiful home are outstanding and seem as though they were there for always ❤🎉 spectacular job👏👍😊💖
Absolutely beautiful. Personally, I am so bored with minimalism and the ever changing design fads of what is "in" or "out" Interesting and intelligent, this designer knows himself and his client. I look forward to seeing more of your designs.
Man oh man, The tasteful detailing to the style and coloring is so beautiful and right on. Love this house. Ahh! Also you just made me realize that my personal taste is Hollywood regency. Thanks
Proud to say I have a home that people "want to see". Blue and orange-- not a color combination you expect to see together. My den: blue and orange for the past ten years ;o). Beautiful home! Wish I could live there.
Anyone can accomplish this kind of decor, many beautiful furnitures and materials can be found at garage sales, and if you have an artistic eye, you can accomplish one of a kind pieces, use the right colors and be open minded, anything is possible.
Beautiful home and I love Tim’s work. H’ever, I disagree with the overuse of “outdoor rugs”. While it might be practical, I’m not feeling the outdoor rug in the formal dining room. I love that Hawthorne yellow from BM tho which I also used in my guest room.
I feel that the whole home is comfortable. You said the furniture was comfortable but I think the whole home is. And the subtle luxury of the master bedroom bathroom and the closet is outstanding.
A lot of people don’t like the warm feeling comfort of a home. Maybe it reminds them of their upbringing, and they want to branch out for a more modern look and feel? I however love this design. It feels so cozy. I’m not sure I like the ceiling in the formal living room, but it does add an element of interest. Today’s designs have no character, and I think it’s because people buy and sell, so they live in someone else’s house. I do think though things are changing, as people are staying in their homes; probably because of finances. I too love Benjamin Moore. So, for me, an A on this project.
The home itself is beautiful. The added architecture is a wonderful addition, but was I wowed by the interior design? No, it's not that it's bad, it's tastefully done, but where's the wow factor? Maybe it's just me, I like colorful, whimsical. artsy, and fun, and on those levels it didn't deliver. Is it nice and conservative? Yes! So if that is what one is trying to achieve then I'd say it's a success.🧚♀

Yes! I did see this home. I even kept a record of it. There are many things I love about the place including the embroidered golden fish wallpaper. I loved the green primary bedroom and the golden wallpaper wrapping around the staircase. I like black rooms as well. I thought all of his rooms were great, but would I necessarily want all of them in my own home? Probably not even though they are all spectacular in their own right. @@DesignerHomeTours
Love the outdoor trellis and the edu so much. Inside the house- I like the octagonal breakfast room only. Definitely not a fan of those yellow walls... artwork looks terrible on yellow
My problem with Carrigan is he is selling to the American fellows back in America a France doesn't exist. If you got money you are worth it, otherwise you will see the very nasty side of the french. Living here is like playing the lottery. How can anyone like people sooooo rude is beyond me! There's nice people of course, but you need a magnifying glass to find them. Once you find them, you will thanks God for them!
