In this episode called "Stone Outbuilding Prep Continues & A House Tour Of Our Farmhouse" we do exactly that. Back at the beginning of March, we decided to leave a certain patch of soil which was ram packed with tree roots, stones and of course soil, as it was possible this may have been giving the large stone outbuilding much needed support. Well now it is time to find out how many tree roots and how much support is in that pile.
Rain and thunder stops work so we decide to go to the bedroom and pass some time in there..... tidying. For the first time since moving to Ireland nearly 12 months ago we have finally unpacked!
Join us as we take you on a little house tour of our farmhouse to see how the other half really live.
Being complete beginners at farmhouse renovation, really needing a "homesteading for beginners" guide and now starting amateur archaeology, we are taking it slowly, enjoying everything we do no matter how hard it is, to one day realise our dream of running a fully functioning homestead from our once derelict Irish Farmhouse.

Great vid folks! Advice to newbies.... But if you were to redo the whole moving over again and finding a place here what would be the 5 things you'd do differently 😊 Crocs look ace Ben 😍

Hi Dawn and Ben! I saw the kitties sleeping and they were so cute. Honestly, neither of you can claim you don’t do hard work! So far everything you’ve done has been super hard! That said there are things that are better suited to one or the other and I guess you two just have to settle that! 😂😂 you hid the bedroom from us? 😂😂 I was looking forward to seeing it! Everything looks nice and tidy and it’s so much more comfortable for you. You have a beautiful bed and I’m sure it’ll look beautiful when you’re able to put everything away. Love watching the “ugly” get “pretty”! 😂😊. Great video. See you next week

Ooh that roll of hessian nearly broke our hearts with how much that cost! I looked all over the internet to try and get the decent quality at a cheaper price but I kept coming up with not a whole lot, tried to buy it from England and have it shipped from a couple of places but no go! So in the end…Roundtower lime suppliers in Cork, with delivery I think €130! 🫣 I went for the 137cm wide 50m long. www.roundtowerlime.com/product/hessian

Why not use a portable sifter you can screen out the roots and rocks from the soil? They are easy to make yourself. You just make a square of 2x4's and staple a piece of chicken wire or something with smaller holes to it. Purchased ones are plastic and dont take the wear and tear. Keep up the good work. I have rooting for you since the beginning of your home reno project!
@thecornerhouseproject
@thecornerhouseproject 27 дней назад
What a great idea thank you for that, I’m guessing you mean to put on top of the wheelbarrow? That would make it a lot easier getting rid of the roots and stones. We’ve been pulling the roots and stones as we go but that might speed things up. Thank you. 🤩

Dawn and Ben I keep thinking of all you both have achieved since last June. You both have worked so hard to create a comfortable home.and it looks so cosy and homily.Its amazing and once you're happy with it you have plenty of time to do the house. The outhouse is very important to have waterproofed for Irish weather. I don't envy the roots removal from the wonky wall.I really enjoy your videos. Take care and mind yourselves. God bless you both xx

Hi Colette thank you we think it’s lovely in here, yes it needs a little tlc but it’s a beautiful house and we love it even with how tired it looks at present lol and like you say, we have plenty of time to get it looking nice. You’re so right with the outbuilding being important to be waterproofed for the weather here, can’t wait to get it sorted and get a roof back on it. It’s going to look so nice with a roof back on it. The roots removal has been hard going but we’re almost done with it, although it might mean having to take some of the wall down, which I’m a bit sad about but the roots have gone straight through it. We will have a proper look again tomorrow and see what we think. Take care Colette and “see” you soon. Xx

I can see so much progress since last year. Remember it’s the journey that’s most important. Thank you for mentioning my dad’s saying and the secret wave to “just nana”. Even my grandkids friends call me nana. I hope when “mum” comes you stop the wall clock at night or else she will wake up every hour and half hour. Those roots are monsters! Reminds me of all the vines and brambles we cleared at our place. We cleared 5 acres lol. Love watching you two. You are my favorite you tube couple 🎄🎄🎄🪨🪨🪨❤️

You’re absolutely right, the journey is the most important part ❤️ I really liked your dads saying, it resonated with me quite a lot. Thank you, it’s come a fair way since last year and if we hadn’t had to get out to get the land under control, we may have gotten more done in the house, but we’re happy with how it’s gone so far and it will all get done eventually. Wow 5 acres! You must have thought it would never end?! Aww thank you! That really does mean a lot to us 😘

Cann't you offer the owner of the collapsed building that is next to your outbuilding alongside the path which you want to restore £500,- for the ruïn and the patch and buy it off him. It probably belonged to your farm once. This enables you to clear it all. It would make a great garage and storing spaace

It really does feel cosy, if a little rough around the edges lol I cannot deny it is lovely to have a bedroom, the tent was alright but it doesn’t come close to indoors. lol You are sooo close now to getting your bedroom finally, it must feel like an eternity still though at times, caravan sleeping wears thin doesn’t it? I can imagine the excitement you just feel with all that you are growing, because it was a momentous occasion when we all saw the strawberries appearing! The blackcurrants and apples are making an appearance too…very exciting! Love the sun but not so much the burn! lol i get hot at the best of times so when we’re out working in it I feel like I’m going to combust! Makes it hard to cover up because then I can’t work for overheating! 🥵 Thank you for your question too ❤️

OK, I loved the house tour and I loved what you did with the place. I wished you would have paused by the windows looking out longer, esp upstairs. Having the same fair skin, may I recommend, in addition to a good sunscreen, a big brimed hat that has good ventilation & a men's long sleeve button up white cotton shirt. The arms on the shirt are longer than a women's shirt and will give the top of your hands some good protection. Being able to button or unbutton the shirt to give you some air flow helps when it's not. I also have a big umbrella with spike end that I can move around and push into the ground as I work. Sunburn is no fun!

Thank you for the tips, luckily because we unpacked all of our clothes that were still in boxes I did find my sun hat which is nice, I knew I’d bought it with me but I just didn’t know where it was lol I bought out our umbrella but couldn’t find anywhere to prop it…we need to get a proper parasol like yours with a spike on the end. It’s no fun in the sun when you’re fair skinned is it?! Freckly and sunburnt…not great!

Hi Dawn and Ben, it does not seem a year since you moved over and set up home in your tent, looking back, you have achieved so much in such a short time. It is great to be able to follow your journey and see you both so happy and pulling together - you really are a terrific team and through all the ups and downs it is heartwarming to see you both so much on the same page as you work through each phase of the project. Thank you for sharing so much. Have you considered setting up some (temporary) strong angled braces against the back on the outbuilding, inside and out, this would enable you to clear the roots and work on the wall with a bit of peace of mind. x
@thecornerhouseproject
@thecornerhouseproject 26 дней назад
Hi Ellen, it certainly doesn’t feel like almost a year, it has gone by so quickly! I think luckily we do seem to agree on most things so it makes it easier as we go along. We’ve always done everything together so I would say that has made a difference with how we work together. No we hadn’t thought about that with the bracing, I’m not sure we would be able to get the angle we needed on the road side though because of how close to the road we are, but it is definitely something to consider because that top part of the wall does concern me a bit. X

Aww glad you liked! Lots still to do but eventually it will get there! 😂 oh my god tell me about it with stone work being slow! The bottom of the bedroom/kitchen window that collapsed and the 2 bedroom door thresholds I rebuilt last year took sooo many hours, I know the outbuilding is going to be weeks possibly months of work I would think. Fingers crossed because I’ve experienced it already it won’t come as a shock just how long it takes 🤣 ❤️
@rufussengi1063
@rufussengi1063 27 дней назад
Congratulations to you both on your fine job of making a lovely, cozy home out of the place, even while it’s in progress! I think I appreciate it because being a long time in poverty, everything tends to fall apart around you till the whole place is a disaster, because things break down but you can’t fix or replace them. So I know how good it feels for the tiniest of things to improve in your surroundings, if one stays humble instead of taking everything for granted. And the more of a wreck things are, the tinier the things that can give you very real joy. It’s one reason I don’t regret having gone through this painful time… because it gave me that, when before I ignored countless such things out of sheer common snobbery. I didn’t find joy in virtually anything, then. Now I find it anywhere I possibly can, and that’s a true blessing upon countless blessings so long and unfortunately overlooked. I imagine your joy, amid the spotty plaster, is something like that. Something that people who are, today, like I was before, will simply not understand. Shows what kind of people you are, too! I think it’s lovely, and so are you!
@thecornerhouseproject
@thecornerhouseproject 26 дней назад
🥹 oh we resonate with this so much, for we have lived through lots of times like that together and are living it again now. We truly do appreciate, like you said, even the tiniest of things because a lot of the time they are achievements to us. They might not seem so much to others but to us we own a house and land that we thought would never be possible and If we have to live through it not being perfect and completed then we don’t mind, that’s the way it will be. We’ve always said, that at least once in everyone’s life they should live for an extended amount of time with very little money to appreciate how much of a struggle it can be but also it does make you more resourceful and appreciative of the little things. We don’t have lots of money to do this house, we have enough to get by and live here and do you know that is quite enough right now, the house will get done (eventually) but it will just take a lot more time than if we had money to do it with. So for now, we’re quite happy to just be able to be living here and doing all that we can to the land, outbuildings, house that doesn’t involve vast amounts of cash lol Thank you for seeing all of that in us and looking past the usual way of doing things and actually seeing it. It honestly touched us to read your comment because sometimes it does make you feel a little ashamed/embarrassed that you can’t do all the things that others on RU-vid are doing at the speed they are doing it but now and again you get people such as yourself who make us feel less embarrassed and remind us we should be proud of what we are doing here despite it being that bit slower and harder to get there. It makes me feel sad to hear that you understand by experience but also pleased and happy for you that you are now able to find joy in all the little things in life that you may not have had in your past life. Bottom line is….we are just very happy doing what we are doing, the way we are doing it and just being here is enough for us! ❤️
@rufussengi1063
@rufussengi1063 21 день назад
Never be ashamed. So many people can’t do a thing on their own, and you’ve accomplished so much already. I suspect it will mean so much more for you having done so much of it yourselves. As long as you’re at peace, what does the pace matter? 🙂

Questions: 1.What line of work were you both in before you began this adventure? Did you have construction skills? 2. How many children do you have? Is Lucas the only one still at home, and is he still in school? BTW, he did an AMAZING job on his bedroom!!!!🥳 3. What made you decide to sell up and do this? Did you see the house first, or were you looking for a while? Has this been a long-time dream? 4. What do you miss most about living in the city? Least? 5. Are you close to having enough to buy the new stove? I think you should give us a clue, so if we know you're only 1/2 way there we can start buying more coffees! 6. How did you both develop such a fantastic work ethic? 7.Are you fairly close to a village/town where you can buy food and supplies? Rent equipment? 7. Where do you learn your new construction skills? Are you like Dan Preston (Escape to Rural France) and watching LOTS of RU-vid videos for information? 😆 8. Have you had cats before? Dogs? I know you mentioned you wanted animals on your land. Do you have experience with farm animals? What kind are you thinking of getting? 9. Did the fruit trees in your garden produce much last year? You have so many. Are you going to can or freeze this year? It's definitely not too late to plant salad things and green beans! You can also still plant things like chard, kale, beets, carrots, turnips, rutabagas. Just put the seeds in one of your raised bed mounds and leave them until you want to pick them. Unless you want to pick weeds, ignore them and pick what you need. 😉 10. Where and when did you two meet? You are so fun together!!!❤❤ 11. How did you choose names for your kitties? Have you planted catnip? Will you plan to buy the derelict structure that isn't yours on your land from the farmer, or does he have plans for it? 12. Was there ever a rural water supply on your property? I think you mentioned there wasn't and people walked to the now-contaminated well for extra water. Does your farmer neighbor have a well or rural water supply? 13. I'm intrigued that the bedrock seems to be just below the surface of your land, yet trees grow well and you have beautiful soil. Does it extend across your entire property? 14. Will you put a metal, tile, or asphalt tile on your outbuilding roofs? Will you rebuild the gables higher so you can have more storage? You seem to have quite a bit of building rock lying around you might use. 15. Will you be adding more water collection tanks, perhaps to the outbuildings and the front of the house? Isn't it nice to have a REAL shower???? I posted a long comment further down. I thought I'd put these separate so you can find them later! 😘

Thank you for the video and inside tour. Some serious violence will be required to address that stump and mass of roots at the corner of the outbuilding. The short wall will probably come down but could be rebuilt; maybe there's an opportunity for a gate instead. With respect to Q & A, and if it's not too personal, I would like to ask if you are retired and if so what was your career? Do you currently work at something online from home? I hope your channel grows to the point where you can monetize and receive a reliable source of additional revenue. Best regards.

Hi, Maybe at the beginning of the vid do a 'this week we will be doing.....' at the end say' next week we will be doing' and do one of these type of videos every few months for a progress report and what is still left to do. If you are watching other channels always try and leave a comment, people that read them will see you channel name and you could ask questions and mention how it ties in with what you are doing - might get more subscribers that way

Our weeks do tend to not run as we had hoped a lot of the time, so I’m not sure we could be so forward thinking with what we will be doing the following week lol although once the work gets going on the outbuildings they are going to take a while so we might be able to pre-empt a next week style video. 😊

I was saying to someone the other day about the diehards of our channel and you are right there up at the top of that list! It really does mean so much to us. I know it’s so weird to think it had 4 bedrooms…although I cannot deny I miss that passageway very much! Lukas said he would prefer a smaller room so we might get to have the passage back yet! Watch this space! 😉 Aww yes it will be lovely to have Bens mum here, she is so looking forward to coming here 😊 We’re doing alright with the cooker fund, about halfway for a reconditioned range with a back boiler 🎉 But we do need to get a hot water cylinder and a couple of radiators to be able to run it. So we will probably hang fire on getting a range until we can get all of what we need in one fell swoop.

I was looking so forward to this! Thank you for posting. You really did make a big dent in the dirt/branch pile beside the building outside. Really excited to see that building project begin so you have covered storage outside. The inside of the house is clean and livable. Dry, someplace to fix food and eat, and get much needed rest. It will do! It looks much different than I remember the last time and of course the kitties make it home. We have cats, as well. Did you have plans for a loo upstairs? May not be enough room? When those ceilings get finished in those bedrooms it will be awesome to see. Anyone who has watched you from the beginning knows the improvements that have already been made. The land alone looks so much different (and beautiful). It just takes time, and you both are doing a splendid job!!! Kudos!

No problem at all! It was nice to do a bit of a walk around, there’s so much to be done but to us it is home no matter what it looks like. The cats certainly help, they stick a smile on your face even when some of the days aren’t so good! We are especially looking forward to getting the outbuilding sorted for the storage it will bring! We have done lots to the house and we sometimes forget what we have done because it still looks like it’s in a very sorry state of repair lol and we’ve spent a lot of time outside this year but that too needed lots doing as well, thank you for getting what we are about and what we are trying to achieve. As for the pile of roots and soil outside….tomorrow we are back to it and fingers crossed we get through the rest because then we can get started on the building! 🎉🎉🤗

Ben, at the beginning I truly didn't recognize you with the tan.😄The sun on your faces truly suits you both. I think I started watching your channel after the second video. At first, it was kind of like watching a train wreck - the state of the house with all it's "stuff" left behind, the roof, the bedroom with the unstable floor the state of the damp and mold. 🤢Mostly, I was amazed that you could be as cheery as you were while sleeping in the tent in the swampy rain.👼 I've admired you so, every time I watch you accomplish so much!!! The house and the land look amazing. How two people, alone, accomplished so much without major equipment is inspirational. Inside looks incredible! I'm thrilled to see you have a working shower (*indoors* 😉) and can spread out. What's left looks mostly cosmetic. You could slap paint on the walls and call it good if you wanted to - but you don't. I realize, that like me, you're just making it cozy for your cats. 🤣 I thought of you the last few weeks as here we've had several tornados, thunderstorms, a derecho, and one day: 7 inches of rain in a few hours. Dawn, you could have stood outside and washed and rinsed your hair several times in the downpours. I laughed at you two saying how "hot" it was. I'd consider that balmy. We've already had temps over 29 a few days this year. Heat + water = mosquitos and ticks. Which I am definitely *not* looking forward to. I don't remember you battling the insects last year and I hope you don't have them this year!
@thecornerhouseproject
@thecornerhouseproject 25 дней назад
Haha he tans so well and so easily, I on the other hand burn so well and so easily 😂 but I tan eventually. Oh it was definitely a train wreck! We viewed in the October 23 and it was bad enough then but when we finally got to own it 6 months later…..wow when we walked in through that front door…the smell of damp and mould and the water and woodworm damage was a bit of a “oh god, what have we done!?” But that feeling didn’t last long and here we are today! 😂 Aww thank you ☺️ pure stubbornness is how we’ve done it without major equipment 🤣 An indoor shower has been amazing! To not have to do the dash outside in the freezing cold is long gone! Of course the comfort of the cats is top of our list but yes, it really is mostly cosmetic. 7 inches of rain?! Wow! That’s a crazy amount of rain! And 29 degrees?? I would have to down tools in that! I can’t handle working in the heat, it makes me quite grumpy! 😠 🤣 We get midges, gnats and horseflies…the midges have already started and they drive me nuts! The horseflies haven’t started yet but they love Ben and he hates them! He is not looking forward to them appearing! 😂

@thecornerhouseproject
@thecornerhouseproject 4 часа назад
We will most likely end up painting everywhere white. We can’t paint over at present as we want to lime whitewash every wall but as some of the walls or I should say the majority of the walls have emulsion on them somewhere. This needs to come off before we can skim some plaster over or whitewash anything. You’re absolutely right though it would look so much nicer all white. The front of the house we have plans to paint white this year until we can get round to getting the cement render off.

Not a question, just a comment: Unlike other DIY/renovation channels, you seem smart enough to realize this is not a sprint, but a marathon. I see too many people burn themselves out overdoing it in order to get the project finished in an unrealistic time frame.
@thecornerhouseproject
@thecornerhouseproject 26 дней назад
Oh it’s definitely not a sprint for us 😂 it’s actually quite beneficial at times going a bit slower as we get to learn things about the house and the land that we may not have done if we had gone hell for leather getting it done. This last few months have been so much more relaxed than when we first started out on it. We have time to enjoy it all, that’s not to say we didn’t enjoy the previous 6 months but we have started to feel more ourselves again now we’ve taken the pressure off ourselves. Everything will get done eventually, we’re sure of that!

Please explain the term "Hessian" and necessity for the out-building repair. Else great renovation keep up the good work!
@thecornerhouseproject
@thecornerhouseproject 23 дня назад
Thank you very much. Yes, that may have been helpful eh? 🫣sorry, Hessian is a woven fabric made from jute or sisal, it’s also known as burlap. You use it when you do lime work to protect the lime whilst it cures. In hotter weather the lime can cure too quickly causing cracking and shrinkage so the hessian would be used dampened to both protect the lime from the heat but also because it is woven it lets the air blow through to aid curing at a slower pace, the same principal applies for wind, rain and frost. Basically the hessian protects the lime from extreme weather conditions whilst it cures.

That’s a great idea and one we had thought of doing and still might need to for the last bits, but our water comes from rain collection so we have to be quite selective what we use it for unless we have lots of rain coming. 😂 and we were also concerned about making it even muddier in that small area we’re confined to. There’s not too much left to do, soil wise now…we’ve just got the bigger roots to cut now. 😊

It's not easy living on site when you're renovating, but your house has come a long way already. It's way more comfortable than the tent for starters, and it's a great way of getting to know what you need to change or not. Huge difference guys.❤

It is so tricky. We knew it would be hard and couldn't just go all out on the repairs inside once we were in though. Things seem to have a natural, logically path and we are following it. From the tent, to the kitchen to the bedroom. Indoors is a lot to do but the buildings outside, gutters and drainage are as important if not more at the moment. The house is working well for us inside, we just need to give the outside some TLC. Thank you again :-)

A couple of people have suggested this and to be honest it wasn’t something that we thought about but….we love the idea, but quickly realised we have nothing here that we’d be able to make it out of. We are almost finished with that patch now but it is definitely something we will look into making for any other digging that we do as it would make it a lot easier separating the roots and stones from the soil. So far, we’ve had just rain yesterday and today, no thunderstorms and a bit of sun here and there today which was nice.

To be fair to you though Mitch, you did have that glitch called Covid which slowed you down no end. Nothing wrong with an old duvet.... if it works it is perfect :-) Thank you as always. See you soon :-)

l would point up the wall as your going ben around that pile. and use small fires to burn out all those roots rather than pulling and dragging on them and it will take the hard work out off it it. but defo point up as you go .

We’re almost done on clearing the patch of soil just some roots to go now, so hopefully not long until we get to start on it weather permitting! Great tip for the burning the Ivy though, I’ll have a go at that to save pulling it. Thank you ☺️

Hi, watching your vids always make me smile. I loved the walk around your house, the patches on the back wall of your living room look like a woman kneeling down talking to a child and a Chef. Question As your bedrooms are so large could you partition off a small portion of one to use as a ,literal ,box room? XX
@thecornerhouseproject
@thecornerhouseproject 28 дней назад
Hi Carol Funnily enough, Dawn was only thinking over the last couple of days how we could "hide" the boxes in the bedroom. We are hoping with the outbuilding work starting very soon though, and the plan to create a loft space out there, they won't be there much longer. It is my fault really as most of the boxes are full of Christmas stuff hahaha. A little box room is an option though should all else fail... and it might. Thank you as always :-) xx

How is the borrowed heater in the kitchen working out? Will you choose that size/capacity when you come to replace it? If you hear a crash over night, it will be your aged mum falling down after stuffing a sock into your gorgeous clock

@thecornerhouseproject 24 дня назад
Haha she has a clock very similar so I would think it’s like a lullaby to her by now! So fingers crossed she will be fine with it, to be honest you don’t hear it after a while of having one. Thank you for your question 😊

Why are you working so hard on the outbuilding and not the main house 😊,, sorry if you have already answered , , just subbed to channel 😊🇮🇪☘️

The house on a whole is liveable for us, obviously there is lots and lots to be done but the outbuilding was/is on the verge of collapse in places and is unsafe so to be able to get the roof back on we need to first fix the walls and the gable. The outbuilding will help us along the way of doing the house because we can use it to store a lot of the unnecessary stuff we have in the house at the moment.

Christ the amount of roots in pile that is heart breaking Dawn, would a pick or small mattock not have helped break up the soil between those damned roots?
@thecornerhouseproject
@thecornerhouseproject 27 дней назад
Hi Scott We had a try with the mattock but it bounces off the roots, they are everywhere. The large crowbar works well to break up the soil between the roots before we can see them to cut them off. Hopefully tomorrow we can get it finished. Thanks for watching and commenting :-)

We spent 10 yrs livin in a remodel lol its all money and time,Its like ya got the money but no time then its like ya got the time but no money .Now its done i'm bored to death it is what it is when your doin it and livin it at the same time.Some people will never understand the struggle untill they live it,,,,

@thecornerhouseproject 26 дней назад
Yes that sounds about right! I don’t mind it taking us lots of time because I rather suspect when it’s done I might be bored! We did a caravan up a few years ago and it was great but once we finished….i needed a new challenge…enter this house! lol but I’m going to hazard a guess that by the time we’re done with the house our bodies won’t want a new challenge anyway! You’re right about living in it though…it would have been so much easier to do the work with an empty house! 🫣 live and learn eh?

Hi both used to love watching your channel but don’t so much now, as I can’t understand Ben’s attitude of not wanting to work hard to get your home sorted for the family? Just seems really strange to me that Dawn does more than her fair share and he’s quite happy to let her do so 😏 All the best for your future 👍
@thecornerhouseproject
@thecornerhouseproject 19 дней назад
Aww I don’t think that’s very fair, we both work as hard as each other. Ben was just joking in the video. There are times where I work alone but that’s normally because Ben is either editing or doing another job that may not get filmed at the time. He’s not great at remembering to have the camera when he’s doing stuff. I always gravitate towards manual labour just because that’s what I like lol. Many a time he will sit up until 2am editing and I’m off in the land of snooze 😂 so it swings in roundabouts really.

That is looking a lot better! I busted out laughing when Dawn got bleeped for saying a curse word lol my home renovation channel would just be one bleep after the other 😂 did you say that building belonged to a farmer? If you guys want to knock it down, you should be able to it looks very dangerous and he would be liable wouldn't he? Anyway I'm trying to pick a fight between you and your neighbor obviously 😂😂😂 good video guys much love from Oklahoma USA Jackie 🇺🇸💖 I know you name your cats human names but when you said there's Carl I believe? Thanks Jackie 🥰 yeah it’s a bit nicer than when we first moved in lol. I do have to remember to not swear when the camera is on, normally Ben edits those times out! 🤣 Yeah that building belongs to the farmer next door and no we don’t want to fall out with him 😂 because he is the loveliest man ❤️ Haha it was probably Alan the cat. The other two are Steve and Peaches. Ooh and also Q&A won’t be live lol, I don’t think our internet would handle doing a live chat, it’s quite diabolical here, not to mention I’d be terrified! lol Maybe one day if we get better internet we might be brave enough to try it! 🫣

@thecornerhouseproject 27 дней назад
Hi James, you could be right. We will get there. Until we have the outbuilding repaired with a roof on, it is difficult to do the work inside whilst living in it at the same time. With ideally needing the room we are going to work on empty, we need somewhere to store the stuff as we go. Trying to work around stuff makes life really hard and takes so much longer. Thanks for watching and commenting :-)
