This week we are in Boston, MA exploring interior designer Liz Caan’s colorful 1920’s Georgian traditional home. Liz and her family have lived in their home for 18 years, but during the pandemic, they decided to take on a full renovation. The construction was finished within a year and resulted in a whimsical, vibrant, textured, and patterned space that Liz refers to as “fearless traditional”.

While there's maybe borderline too much going on overall for the minimalist in me, it's undeniably creative and full of personality. Wow, that stove looks fantastic! Also, what she did to the dining room is kind of brilliant. Most wouldn't think to shrink the dining room and make it into multi-purpose- hmm.

Absolutely gorgeous…no high ceilings, no big open void spaces, no white box rooms. BRILLIANT. Every wall floor and ceiling has a curated look about it. Beautiful collections grouped together for stronger impact. Great use of color…don’t be afraid to use COLOR. Everything doesn’t have to match. Start pacing I’m moving in…

Now that is what I call design! It takes someone who really loves design and knows what they are doing. I feel English design is definitely the most complex in colour, design and texture. I just love when it’s executed perfectly. So pleased to see many more American designers who have expertise in the style get showcased more. Well done! More please!

Gorgeous and so unique. Take note RU-vidrs you don’t have to jump on the bandwagon and change “esthetics” every time something new in in vogue. Good decor and design takes time and should be a personal expression.

I absolutely love the way that you put everything together but just as much as the rooms are interesting your choice of descriptives of the space was superior and interesting, and mostly in the most positive way....., "curious" ♥️.
