A truly darling property except for the lack of storage in the kitchen, especially as one would have to remove several of the few existng cupboards to make room for a proper refrigerator. Nevertheless, the rest of the house with all its charming eccentricities, and adorable back garden make up for most shortcomings such as only 1 bathroom with no tub. I can certainly see a single person or even a couple happily living in this house. Surely the smaller building in the backyard was originally an outhouse as I would imagine indoor plumbing was a comparatively recent addition.
The house is, indeed, full of character, and if I were to do any updating I would not want to change that! The rear garden also has lots of antique charm. I presume that the house sits directly on London Street with no front garden, but it would be a only short walk to shops and village amenities. This would work well for a couple who appreciate a bit of English history in a convenient location.
