My advice if you can do better then don't choose this kind of profession. Just study and finish your degree and you will be open alot of opportunities!! I can say this cause I myself is a housekeeper and yeah its A job it's okay its decent.but you have to dream more not just like this!!

Good tips. Housekeeping is a broad field that consists of hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, commercial etc. I ask applicants to tell me a little bit about themselves. I go into their hours of availability and then will review their work history questioning any gaps in employment or job hopping. Integrity, accountability, and time management are all very important qualities.

Thank you! Mine is tomorrow. I applied to a rehabilitation center (I’m a hospital housekeeper at the moment, so this will be good). I am pretty excited. Hopefully I get the job because I lost my car in a car accident and my job is 30 something to 40 minutes away (I didn’t mind the drive), and I’ve been taking Lyft/Uber to work. All the money I earn ends up going to my rides to work and I’m left with only $200. My boyfriend is paying the house alone (recently got a house we’ve only lived in for 10 months now), and It’s hard on him alone. We’re pretty broke because of this situation, so I’m hoping to god I get this job…. It’s 7 minutes away from my house. Even if I wasn’t paid as much as I make at my current hospital, I’d have so much more money cause it’s way closer.

i believe in the service that people should provide for the amount they are paid. When someone is paid to do a job or render a service, they should provide to customers' satisfaction. Providing service out of job scope is voluntary. it is not an obligation. A housekeeper can only be expected to provide her or his best service during working hours at workplace. They are not obliged to provide personal service to customers after office hours or be extra nice to their customers out of workplace. That is voluntary and up to the individual.
I agree. After I’m done with my shift (hospital housekeeper here), I no longer greet the patient visitors, and most likely won’t speak to most of the staff. At that moment, my goal is to get out asap. ASAP. I make mo eye contact and will even wear AirPods on both ears to make sure people get the picture. Then I’ll go about my day. Best time of the day. They work me till I die.
