If they aren’t cleaning, modern electric stoves do not have burners unlike older ones but they usually have a completely even top. So yes they are in the sink getting cleaned.

you can also have a shop vac handy at time for drying so you can really pull the water back to the surface and best to use paper towels to absorb the water as it rises yo top.. another tip is to lay pillow upside down while drying so water doesnt keep moving inward and lay on several heets of paper towels to pull it out as it flows outward. do this for 10 mins then if you think its pretty dry set up to air dry in window for natural sun and heat from glass.

Thank you this was helpful I need to spot clean my mattress. I have a water proof mattress protector and then I add another sheet on top of it mostly for color. I can see some spots on it. My child drools so it still ends up a little on the mattress.

I have an eggcrate memory foam mattress topper-queen size. I used it under a kid's swim pool to pad the cement. It wasn't too dirty but I wanted to clean it anyway. I looked online after I cleaned it the wrong way. Now it stinks. I used mild soap and water but I soaked it, squeezed it out, thoroughly dried it but it still stinks like rubber or a basement, my daughter thinks. Can I treat it with the tips you give in the video to freshen it yet, even the vinegar idea? How would I do that?

Well that's great if your mattress just needs a "spring clean" but what if it's actually dirty (eg: vomit or urine from young children). This video isn't really that helpful sorry!

Yeah, I always get a new $2,000 memory foam mattress when it gets dirty, why waist a little soap and water when you can waist a couple grand and hassle with getting rid of the old one. Simple as duh, think about it.

When my dog vomited on my Tempurpedic I blotted well and used a little cider vinegar on it and let it dry. After that, I bought a waterproof mattress cover and still have it to this day. It gives me a little peace of mind, if nothing else..

This was very helpful for cleaning memory foam but i don't agree that memory foam is the best, i believe that buckwheat hull is the best for pillows & mattresses. Its all natural with no added chemicals, & hands down the most breathable. Also, you can easily clean by periodically replacing the hulls...sorry for sounding like spam

What if I already washed my pillow with tons of water and now it does not dry, it is still with water inside and it does not come out, it's been lime that for almost 2 weeks and nothing :( can anyone help me

If water got in, then it can come out the same way. Place it in a vacuum chamber and slowly decrease the pressure till all the water evaporates. That, or place it in the sun, but most closed-foam pillows will be damaged by the UV light.

【For pet urine】 Mix one cup of hydrogen peroxide one tsp of white vinegar two tbsps of baking soda Apply to area with spray bottle or by blotting with clean dry cloth. Let it sit overnight. Repeat if necessary, especially if odor persists. Blot clean with cloth & cold water. Allow pillow to air dry (in direct sunlight if possible) [EDIT] *Don't saturate the pillow,* just use enough liquid to effectively clean and deodorize the urine. You can also use an enzymatic cleaner, same process.

Was it the new machine that wash slow it didnt rip because i bought a 40 dollar latex real thick pillow put it in the wasjer cause it got stain with coffee and it was rip in half i didnt get how if the machine washes slow im thinking someone i git in an arguement last night riped it in half because it was rip conpletly in 2 pieces so any one xan explai if the machine rip both in half witch i doubt it or the person from last night might of riped cause we argued

Since you both put your pillows in the washer, all you can do is replace them. You should not even scrub it, you have to be extremely gentle when cleaning. Catherine Gonzales I have been there! My kids don’t have a memory foam bed, but this should help you: Mix together 3T baking soda, a drop or two of dish soap, and 1C of peroxide. Mix it well and dab a paper towel in the mixture. Dab onto the bed and leave it sit. (One of my boys gave the other boy a bloody nose, so this is great for blood stains as well 😉) When it’s dry, vacuum the bed to remove the baking soda. It is amazing how well it gets rid of the stains. But don’t wipe- you’ll mess up the material in the mattress. At least that’s what I did. Dabbing works best, then vacuum. Hope that helps. Also, my son wets the bed still and he’s ten. Get a waterproof mattress cover. They’re not plasticky like the old kind. It will really save you on the headaches!

I have a memory foam dog bed and I need to clean the out urine from my puppy. I'm will try to spot clean but that urine is in their pretty good. Memory foam is a mother to dry.

BTW, when using baking soda, make SURE it's vacuumed well. Dogs don't handle leavening ingredients that haven't been baked, and that was what made my dog vomit on the bed in the first place. I had covered the cat boxes with baking soda . . . need I say more?

It is like a big sponge. If you can't wash it out completely and let it air dry in the sun you are doing no good. Sprinkling soda on it is a joke. How could a bit of soda suck out the dirt or smell inside it? You must wash it out completely. Would you wash your dirty clothes by sprinkling soda on them? This baking soda advice has gotten so stupid.

This didn't really help much at all, I have a special pillow or my neckI was given when I was 12 I'm 18 now and spot cleaning doesn't do it for the long haul. Plus sweat and drool doesn't just go away with this method. Maybe if you do it literally every morning but who has time for that? I was hoping for a really TRUE CLEAN to get down into the years of sweat and drool that has plagued my pillow. Thumbs down for sure ma'am.
