Mom of 2 with a 3rd on the way plus 3 step kids here with a little unsolicited advice: Once he starts to scoot around on his butt, I would suggest you make sure that you start securing anything that he could grab and pull on. Things like that Ikea shelf or any stands that might be a little bit wobbly. You would be amazed by the strength of a baby. Once he starts pulling on stuff you will get a good idea of what you can expect when he's walking. I always take the mindset of assessing the height that they can reach and then going one to two feet above that as a buffer.
Grass lawns aren’t great for the environment! You could do a natural lawn and show us how you care for it!! I hope you look into it ♥️♥️♥️ love the video!!!!
Love that golden pothos! You could always flip it and manually put it across the mirror. Then that other strand would probably keep pumping out growth in the nice light and trail back down
Dear Harli, if you turn aroung the pothos on the top of the shelf you can put the longer vine around the mirror as you wanted and let the other one grow down along the wall. 😉😁

Yes! Do an update with the shelf and the pictures up! I have the worst commitment issues with putting holes in the wall too. Putting holes in the ceiling for hanging plant, no big deal for me. Also, that would be a great video on how to get variegation back with update videos as it grows back.

Hi Harli and Kai! I love the way you decorated Kai's room! The plants in there are so pretty. I've never seen a global green pothos before. I googled it and it is, supposedly, rare.....? I'd love to find an affordable one. I can't believe how much Kai has grown. He's such a handsome little guy! I wouldn't worry about your lawn too much. You'll get it done when you're ready. I really like those plant tags. As a couple of other people mentioned below, can you just turn your golden pothos around and wrap the mirror with the longer vine? Thank you so much for sharing!

You could get command strips that stick to your wall and leave no mark when you remove it to hang up ur pics. It’s honestly really easy and there are different sizes for different weights!

Definitely relate to the fear of hanging stuff on the walls! Such a bummer though cause as you I have so many plans that never gets executed.. Also, our lawn is a hot mess as well ever since we moved in, hoping to tackle it next summer! Loved the plants in Kai's nursery and how you styled them and can't wait to see if you end up getting those shelves up on the walls or not #youcandoit
you could use Comand velcro strips to hang the pictures then you don't have to damage the walls. you can also test out the layout before hanging them (just cut out the frames from paper, and stick them around with painters tape till you like it)

Hi, love your videos and your baby is so cute. What about if you moved your golden pothos to the other side of the mirror on a high level shelf? Firstly, that would pull it back from the south window, and secondly that really long trail of leaves that's on the floor then goes over your mirror as you wanted!! Win win 😁
try lacing the pothos vines between the “fence” as the vines grow longer! sorry i’m a watch and comment as i go kind of girl xD edit: like taking the “end” of the vine that looks like a “C” hook and just hook it behind one of the wooden panels on the fence thing! i’m doing something similar and it seems to be working! good luck 👍🏻
I think if there was a light source in that direction the vine would want to go on to that fence. But since the bright Window is there, it probably wants to go the opposite direction.
Your albo syngonium is more green because is getting more light. If it gets a little less light. It will alow the white verigation to come threw more. To my understanding.

Wrap the left part of that Golden P. around the top right knob of the wooden mirror, then harness it with the tie! I feel thay when a Pothos is propped just a little above where you want it to trail, it's easier for it to "grab on" and take lead. Does that make sense at all? 😅
