To anyone eyeing their Scheffleras now... the cuttings will reroot. :) if you cut off branches put them in a vase or airy damp propagating substrate! I cut down my giant scheffleras and made them into multiple small plants.

I just got a bansai and I have 2 questions. Do I NEED to repot my tree. and why are the rocks glued on to the soil? If it’s supposed to be glued is it good?

You don’t need to repot unless water can’t permeate the soil. Remove the glued rocks asap. Apparently they are there to keep the tree secure during transport but idk 🤷‍♂️
