I equally love the view: great location. I am not so sure about the "gate providing security": we are talking about 390 hectars here---that place will have 4100+ residential houses and about 40 commercial lots [...] why fortify it? Incidentally, I quite like the Salama Park setup: open! Either way, I imagine the average person would prefer living in a "gated community". Thank you for your thoughtful comments!
This is a lovely place that can indeed be a gem in Lusaka if they’ll stick to their plans & I can see that there’ll be some order with this suburb Park. Whether the houses are big or small, there’s always need for people to build according to what is on the designs.
Right! I went up there with a dear friend of mine and I stressed the point of "order and structure". I do NOT like what I see in places like Meanwood Kwamwena: no order there [...] On a different note, I definitely would see myself staying in this estate, as opposed to Nkwashi. Thanks for your insightful comments Sir!
All the these housing developments are quite a distance from the CBD: of course, it depends on what your definition of far is. Emerald Hill is probably the closest from the CBD and, located in an area with little traffic. *## Emerald Hill* * 20km from CBD (30 minutes) *## Emerald Park* * 36km from CBD (41 minutes) *## New Horizon Green* * 40km (57 minutes) *## Nkwashi* * 45km f(52 minutes)
There are a number of factors to take into account, but I would personally go for NEHF: * Arguably cheaper---nothing like monthly fees for NEHF, unlike Nkwashi [1] * Flexible payment options for NEHF * Emerald Hill Estate is much close to the CBD * NEHF has realistic goals and progress clearly being made---I have been to Nkwashi a couple of times and they seem to have stalled * I never thought I would ever say this, but NEHF's Emerald Hill Estate has stunning views 🙂 [1] nkwashi.com/about-us
@@vincentkalebaila6969 I would personally go for Horizon Green Village. They are cheaper and I have a personal preference for that part of the province (close to Chongwe CBD). While Nkwashi and Emerald Park are in Chongwe district, they are located in a part of Chongwe far from the CBD. I also like the plans they have for the Horizon Green Village project. By the way, if you are evaluating housing developments with the hope of purchasing a house, you want to look into "Emerald Hill"---this housing development is along District Road, right opposite Papa Joe's, and not too far from Kalimba Reptile Park.
