It sucks but overall it’s not that bad as overall we are getting some big content such as 2 heists and 4 weapons with loads of additions, plus I have a big feeling we will see Houston in the next update which is very soon (September) and as they said there will be a lore reason so I think we should wait just a bit 😀 plus new characters don’t really impact the game all that much so I would rather have some of the other content over Houston personally
It doesn’t matter he’ll be in a free update next month. People don’t even play the game anyways so if they did release him now people still wouldn’t care.
Frankly i dont really care that were not gonna get houston right away im just happy that were getting two heists in one update now just hope that theyre good also im really excited for the music
If you would unlock Houston after beating the Breakout Heist then he would be kind of a paid character. But I could be wrong here and there are ways around that
I totally agree they dropped the ball in the beginning and now they just said fuck the ball i have no hope for this game its walking dead all over again
i personally don't mind Houston not being available right off the bat. If they did it like with Hoxton Breakout, it would mean you'd need to play the heist first to unlock him. Considering it's a paid DLC, it would essentially put Houston behind a paywall. So yeah, i'm fine with waiting and getting him for free like with Clover
Really the characters don’t even matter in payday they’re pointless. They really need to do, to start giving additional perks to each character to make each one stand out from each other to make each character means something
Now what i'm theorizing towards this This is no Houston but rather a trap from Concord hence why you won't be abel to play or unlock Houston because it's a double ganger/trap whatever etc There is defintley a plot twist hidden for Houston and i doubt he's dying because the way the devs talked about him not being in the dlc sounds like he is somewhere just we won't get him rn
@staufackar2135 that's a pretty weak piece of rhetoric in this case, you can't cite something as weak by comparison and cite the producer of both products as the reason for the difference in quality, look at boys in blue, that was a fun heist, again why don't you wait one more day then form your opinion after you've played it?
@@finlaytemple1744 I would take a heist like Breakfast in Tijuana any day of the week over that heist for all I know. Let's compare both of them shall we? Hoxton Breakout was a free, 2 day heist, one that had a lot of anticipation and a live action trailer to go with it, you unlocked Hoxton and a Melee weapon for beating the heist. Now Houston breakout: we know it's going to be a paid heist, with basically no anticipation (I didn't even know he was arrested until this point). And we won't even get to play as him after beating the heist (that's the equivalent of getting a prize car in a casino just to have the manager say that you won't be able to drive the thing). Make of that what you will.
@staufackar2135 yeah because if you got Houston after beating the heist then it would be a paid character which you would also whine about. We are most likely getting Houston for free in the update after this one. Also its your own fault if you didn't know he was arrested, there's literally an in game cutscene about it. Also does length dictate quality? And does a live action trailer dictate quality? Plus to say there is no anticipation is just wrong, the entire community have barely been talking about anything else the last few weeks
I'm very sad Houston will not be playable but I'm guessing it's for diversity checklist in modern gaming reasons, only time will tell and I'm happy to be wrong. Wild guess says it's some character cameo like Tuco Salamanca.
