Most Indian restaurants in USA and Canada with Hindu and sikh owners don't have beef or pork in their menu due to religious reasons. This is definitely a pakistani owned restaurant with a mix of Indian items.

The best Indo Pak restaurant in Houston and probably one of the best in US. The owner is a gem of a person who supports local events and activities be it Indian or Pakistani. The food here is simply superb in terms of variety, quality, taste and quantity. He can easily open many such restaurants successfully all over US but has stuck to Houston. Enjoy visiting this place often!
Moved to Houston from NYC about 5 years ago and Agas is by far the best Indian/Pakistani restaurant I've ever been to. After multiple visits, I can say with confidence that the main reason for Agas' success is due to the consistency in how they prepare every item on their menu. No other restaurant of this cuisine can compare.

Is this really an Indian restaurant or a Pakistani restaurant impersonating an India one. The amount of non veg and beef is really something also the poori that they made is a Pakistani style. So it is a suspicious one.
@@smrtguy77777 It's just not the beef, the fact that they are also cooking non veg and veg dishes together is also a signal for that and secondly there have been numerous cases of Pakistanis operating restaurants under Indian Names to fool the public.

1. Aga's are Pakistani restaurants not Indian. You will find good Indian restaurants in Houston and Sugar Land. However, Pakistanis use Indian words to get business. 2. Pakistani food is very oily compared to Indian food and 3. You will get very limited veg items in Pakistani restaurants. 4. Paneer in the USA is hard and chewy. Fake paneer or plastic paneer you get in the USA. In India tofu is hard but in the USA I found tofu much softer than paneer which is a joke. 5. None of the Indian restaurants including Aga's can make good authentic veg food which you get in India and the reason is food is prepared by Mexicans.

Good to see you in H-Town, David! Aga’s is great. A lot of foodies tend to visit Himalaya but it’s ok. The restaurant next to there is called London Sizzler which is underrated IMO.

No point in really calling it a Pakistani restaurant. It's literally all Indian food from the Indian subcontinent. Pakistan was carved out of India. It's just Indian food. More accurate would be Punjabi, Sindhi, Balochi, Pashtun, food etc.

Aga is awesome. The food is very good and consistent; service is excellent and they make sure that the customers are satisfied. This restaurant is always busy but once you are seated , it does not take long to get your food. The owners are always there and work with the team. Of all the desi places , I think they are the best restaurant in Houston.
Don’t let this video fool you. Try their vegetarian dishes too!! Sooooo good. Not to mention the family that runs the place are the kindest people you’ll meet.
I didn't expect that, Hispanic employees making pakistani/indian food. I wonder how that will effect the culture in the area, as in the Hispanics must be eating this sort of food more often in their communities maybe even creating more fusions. This may be how food develops in the ages.

Not that it matters, but actually it was a Pakistani British chef Ali Ahmed Aslam who invented Chicken Tikka Masala. Regardless, happy that both Indians and Pakistanis get to enjoy this delicious delicacy together. Its our cuisine and there is no need to create division over it.

i guess it's a western thing, but i really love how in 21:22 David is eating the rice and has access to both a spoon and fork, and yet he fills the fork with rice with the help of the spoon. instead of just scooping the rice with the spoon straight ahead
That kitchen is insane but I can only imagine any buffet kitchen especially any of the ones I've seen Mikey Chen review!!! It's obviously a Pakistani restaurant. Most Indians (even the non-vegetarian eaters who don't eat beef) won't eat here because they wouldn't be using separate pots to cook their beef.
You need to go to Bismillah Restaurant & Cafe on 5696 Hillcroft St, Houston, TX, United States there food is amazing ❤ Highly recommend this restaurant! You mix halwa and chickpeas and pickle together then eat with puri flavors would be amazing

Agas is Pakistani owned and run. It is not Indian restaurant but it caters to all. A lot of their dishes are non vegetarian with most of them having Pakistani touch. David should be aware of it, instead of off the bat coming out and stating as an Indian restaurant.
I said it’s both Indian and Pakistani and that’s exactly how they label it on their website as well. It’s not my job to rebrand the restaurant. They eat meat in many parts of India including Kerala and Goa. again I said it’s Indian/pakistani which is a very common combination for these types of restaurants in the USA because of the diverse clientele and US expectations when going to these types of establishments.
David: Obviously, you haven't brushed up on your history. Trini-Indians and Guyanese Indians moved from present-day UP and Bihar. The "Double" is essentially the Puri from those regions loaded with veggies.

Unfortunately I don’t do that type of content anymore, though I appreciate the sentiment. Sadly those videos perform too poorly to justify continuing to make them. There are a lot of reasons for that (mainly the explosion of asmr, haircut, and massage videos and channels dedicated to that content) so people just stopped watching them on my channel. @@intheworldofaj Indian and Pakistani cuisines are very different from each other. Indian cuisines are more diverse, rich and exotic in compare to Central Asian adopted meat based Mughalai Cuisines by Muslim Communities of Pakistan.
@@sauravkumarchand9691 While Indian and Pakistani dishes have diverse foods and certainly different dishes this restaurant serves a lot of the same food you would have with North Indian cuisine. Hence why their website and the sign outside their restaurant says Indo Pak cuisine and the dishes are the same like butter chicken or roti.
For your kind don't mix Indian restaurant with pakistani. Most pakistani impersonate Indian restaurants with name and style other then that nothing is indian.
