This is the fight song of the Houston Oilers (later known as the Tennessee Oilers and now known as Tennessee Titans) with Ex-Oilers and Titans players who originally started with the Oilers. Here's it is and enjoy.
NOTE: This video only features players who played for (or started with) the Houston/Tennessee Oilers prior to the 1999 NFL season.

@@DonQwantsyou I'll agree to the one in '79-80, Mike Renfro's feet were in. But '78-79 was an epic beat down. And what the hell happened in the '80-81 wildcard game in Oakland was a complete debacle. '92-93 against Buffalo was a collapse, and '93-94 was unexplainable. Still, I miss the Oilers. Don't like the Texans much. As far as I'm concerned, Titans are former Jets, Texans are former Chiefs, Colts play in BALTIMORE not Cleveland, Cardinals play in St. Louis not Arizona, Rams NEVER played in St. Louis, their home was, is and shall always be LA, wasn't born early enough to the Chargers in LA, they are San Diego, Ravens should be in Indianapolis, and above all, DAMN LAS VEGAS!!!!! The Raiders are Oakland. Not LA or Las Vegas. They say that change is inevitable. But that don't mean that you have to like it. You simply just go with it. I'm sure there are still some purists out there who say FUCK CALIFORNIA BASEBALL!!!!! My Giants are from New York or my Dodgers are from Brooklyn. Society says those people are living in the past. I say they're keeping yesterday alive so that one day who knows, it just might become today again. Amid the failures, LUV YA BLUE!!!! Miss ya too.

I remember singing this song in the 1980's as a kid in the Astrodome. Those uniforms were amazing. The Titans have definitely robbed a whole city of generational memories and family bonding. It's more than an oil derrick logo. It meant a lot to Houston, especially the old heads.
@Ddavis11024
@Ddavis11024 6 месяцев назад
Tbh with you it was the city of Houston that robbed themselves. Bud adams wanted a new stadium. Multi purpose stadiums were fading away and Houston didn't want to pay, he had no choice but to pack the team and leave. A few years later you start building enron field and then built reliant next to the astrodome. (In which Houston ended up paying for a stadium anyway) it sucks but Houston did it to themselves.

My first memory of this song was when I was 2 years old on Christmas Eve 1978. Someone put it on the console stereo at my grandmas house and everyone but me started dancing to it. I got dorky vibes over the whole thing and started walking out the room. My mom asked me where i was going and I turned around and walked back in and just stood there. I learned to like the song when my parents got me the record with my first record player 2 years later. One side had this song and the other had Love Ya Blue on it.

I Love this song, And the song Big Bad Earl...LOL... My Uncle played for the Oilers and a couple other teams, but the Oilers was the last team he played with, he got hurt and couldn't have the surgery he needed, so that ended his career, But I had a father in law that worked at the Astrodome and I went to every game, Gosh those were the Good times!!! Even tho he couldn't play anymore, the guys would still stop by his house to eat, his wife cooked for them a lot. I met a lot of the players,Earl Campbell and a few more.. I even had a chance to go to Earl Campbell's Night club Called The Tyler Rose. Very Nice Place... Ohhh I miss those days!!! And Oh my Gosh How I hated when they played the steelers, LOL.. they beat us just about every time.. I hated the steelers But Terry Bradshaw was just doing his job..LOL.. I Miss Those days.. I'm from Texas born in Dallas, Moved to Houston after my moms bother moved there to play with the Oilers my sister and I went right before my 12th birthday.. Cowboys fan for Life, But The Oilers was # 2 on my list... Now Im down with The Houston Texans.. JJ Watts is a Beast... Go JJ Go!!!
