Adams made it quite clear how serious he is taking his rehab, he said he has just been cleared to play and wants to take it slow, as it is really a 2 year process. I doubt he wanted to go 100% in a preseason game. He is still getting used to the new team. We will probably get more of a true idea of how he looks even a couple of months into the season.

@@y2jt585 very Cam Whitmore like assist to turnover ratio. I chalk it up to first game just being shaken off. Green has never been a player who averages more turnovers than assists like Cam so I chalk it up to a single game anomaly.

Why are there so many negative takes? Our core players did very good. Utah kept their starters in the game even against like our 3rd stringers. Im so excited for this season. This was a preseason game.

Similar to Jock Landale last season, Adams needs to get over this injury, he can manage it and look how he did yesterday but however long it takes once he is actually over the injury and 100% you’ll see the difference, just like Jock Landale last season

One thing you can expect from Steven Adams: he will work his ass off for his team. If he's not 100% yet, he will work his ass off until he is. And you will never hear him complain about anything ever, even if he isn't getting minutes off the bench until he comes right.

No doubt Cam is explosive but in basically the same amount of minutes Cam had 17 points and a -13 +/- rating while Jalen had 21 points and a team leading +15 rating. Starters definitely owned the Jazz. Most obvious take from this game is who's going to get cut before the season. Steven Adams will have a role on this team as the season begins.

Its simple. First, Jalen took a lot more shots. 14 FGA vs 8 for Cam. Second, single game +/- means *nothing*. Even whole season +/- doesnt mean a whole lot.

@@steadtlera950Cam's volume of shots are going to be limited by the fact he dribbles balls off his knees a lot. As in his handles are doggy doodoo. Jalen will naturally create more shots for himself because he can create separation off the dribble effortlessly while Cam gets most of his buckets in transition or from attacking close outs/catch and shoot.

I noticed Alpi didn't fall down one time, that I can remember. Jalen was good. Reed was too tight and McVeigh was loose as a goose. I would mind it if ole Jack made the team over Tate. I'm not sure if any of our G Leaguer's are ever going to play much on an NBA roster outside of McVeigh. The jury is still out on him. Not sure if he is a "Ime kinda guy". McViegh and Tate are both TRASH. And Sengun continue to lose us leads. I really dont understand it. After 4 years, I come to realize Sengun is just a Curse on your team. He make Green lose his shooting touch. But when Sengun is on the bench and Green on the floor; he seem to gain his shooting touch back. Its crazy how that is. The Rockets would be hella STUPID if they give Sengun the max. He is not a max player. He's a nice trade piece along with: - Tate - McVeigh - N.Williams - N. Hinton - J. Samuel - Jabari Smith - A. Jalen’s off season workout has showed some early promise with him staying low after picks and reading the play. He seems super comfortable and ready to shoot. He gets a lot of criticism because his potential is ridiculous. Some trades need to happen on this team however. Jabari and sengun confuse me together. Will reed sheppard replace fvv he’s really far away from that fvv is a champion a deadly shooter plus floater and defender. They need better usage of all these players. They all do similar things. Team Needs more contrast.

Im not sold on Alperen at all. And I really think the Media keep hyping up this fraud in hope the Rockets give him a max contract that will be an albatros on our neck as no team will trade for Sengun with his limited offensive skills. Against the Jazz, Sengun killed our lead and momentum which is always the case when he's on the floor. He kills leads. He kills team chemistry. He cause guys to slump due to having to stand around and watch an un-working display of post-plays that does nothing for us. We build our biggest lead with Sengun on the bench. Sengun comes back in the game, we started to lose our lead to the point we lose momemtum. I have seen that over and over too many times in 4 years of Sengun being a Rockets. Why cant the Coaching staff sees that? If we max this guy, it will be the biggest bonehead mistake the Rockets made under Tillman. Sengun is NOT the answer at the 5. I rather go with Jock Landale until we can trade for a defensive, mobile big that can hit 3s...and preferrabltly BLACK AMERICAN, please! One more thing, Jack McVeigh is GARBAGE! Why do we insist on bringing in these trash azz, foreign whiteboy?? He's soft as butter on defense. Get rid of: - Al-P - Bari - Tate -Nate William - Nate Hinton -Jermaine Samuel - Markquis Nowell - Jack McVeigh
