Such a huge win for the Panthers. Needed this one desperatley despite how close the score was. I should not be feeling this good after only one win but I do hahaha
We deserve this and should celebrate winning. Nobody can take it from us either. Especially no lowley Texan fan lmao. I don't get how Texans/Jets/Brown fans ever muster up the courage to talk ish
I was honestly hoping they went 0-17 this year. I think it would have been the first year the #1 QB went winless in his first season. Luckily, I had a feeling they were going to win so I choses Eagles in survivor instead of Texans
Texans fan here and just want to say congrats to Panthers' first win. No doubt Bryce Young won hand down in this QB match-up. Though he was sacked several times but he played with more confidence and accuracy than Stroud.
I'm not only celebrating their first win but also celebrating Bryce's progression. the latter is all we can hope for at this point of the season with no 1st round pick next year. first game I actually finished watching this year - the offense wasn't too vanilla and Donte Jackson (who I'm awfully critical of) didn't whiff too many tackles 😂.
I’m exactly the same way but idk why. Maybe because we drafted him so early I expect a lot out of him, but I’ve been seeing him play like a 5th round or later pick for what feels like years so this is so refreshing
Bryce Young tougher than a $2 steak, and so composed under pressure. Going to be a special player. My Panthers need to get him a lot of help over the offseason.
Well for starters, luckily we won’t be the first team to go 0-17, and two, we still have a 4% chance of making it to the playoffs, congrats on your first panthers
Since everyone else in the South likes to lose, I don’t see why the Panthers can’t take the division. All they need to do is win as many as possible or reach either 8-9 or 9-8 to win the division or have a better division record than the other South teams. Regardless, GOOO PANTHERS
@@rudygamez9689you’re a Texans fan just take the L and move on Stroud has been better so far but the Young definitely played better than he did this game
CJ looked really good in the first half making some great throws. We just need the defense to be better because this is the second game in a row we've lost in the final seconds because of a field goal. GG Panthers and congrats on finally getting your first win.
Defense did good, they had 6 sacks lol. Becks fumble and Bobby’s terrible play calling cost us the game. Now panther fans are acting like they won the super bowl. They’re 1-6 and we lost 😂
Not really. The idea is not to but Bryce in a bad position. If we played against a team like SF or Philly he would have opened the playbook like we did against Miami.
I really love to watch these young quarterbacks compete against each other. It really seems that the league’s future is on their good hands. Wish them all the best ever.
I loved Thomas Brown's playcalling can deff see shades of Sean McVay in his stuff. Excited to see if they Panthers can build some momentum and get a streak going
It was creative taking shots not just running every time. Texans run defense is good chubba usually has more impact but poor sanders couldn’t get a yard
@@KingAdam1213 Yeah Sanders and Hurst have been very underwhelming pickups to say the least, I still have faith in Hurst idk abt Sanders tho tbh never though we shouldve let Foreman go. Or CMC for that matter lol. Didnt even get a first rounder for a future hall of famer
My respect for this young Texans team won’t be lost with one or two defeats. They have a bright future with their young players and I really hope they would carry their team to their first ever SB appearance. I really hope that will happen someday… .
I love seeing Bryce's reaction after seeing the game winning field goal and the kicker piggy back riding his teammate to win their first game. Regardless of his size he is actually talented, love seeing young well-known college QB's face eachother in the NFL.
5:35 An example of a great play by a secondary player on the Panthers. Instead of doing some mindless helmet-to-helmet hit and disabling himself and others he goes to punch out the ball WHILE he is helping to make the tackle. 200 IQ play. Well freaking done.
Texans' defense normally shows up big time. But this game it seems like a lot of Panther receivers were WIDE OPEN. Still a huge improvement over the last two years. It'll get there.
Definity seeing the growth in Young over the season. We really need to get him a better O line and true #1 receiver. Regardless of our record at the end of the season i just want to see him rise as a true team leader similar to Hurts in Philly.
Bryce has actually been playing well overall this season, he’s just been overshadowed by a terrible organization and god-awful O Line. But these last few weeks especially he has been steadily improving, and outplaying his fellow first round quarterback and winning just solidified his 1st overall status IMO.
I agree, Bryce has played well. AT19 and Hubbard is his only support at the moment. The o-line still needs to work on their communication, and there has to be a speed receiver on the opposite side of AT19.
As a Texans fans this game was just frustrating to watch but gg to the panthers Bobby trying to run the bull when it wasn’t really working much and not letting kiami fairbairn kick a 58 yard field goal when he is mostly money like come on man but we will be better next week
I don’t wanna hear anything else about Bryce Young having more around him than CJ. Bryce Young threw for 235 yards while the Panthers as an entire team only gained 224 yards. Insane. I think this game proved that Bryce has a worse line, worse running game and worse receivers. I really like CJ and Bryce a lot, but I got real tired of hearing Texans fans attacking Bryce by saying “CJ is playing this well with a worse team than Bryce!” 🙄
Gg but its still true, everyone was literally saying bryce is going to take the panthers to a potential wild card spot, saying cj was going to the worst team, mock drafts having the cardinals with the 1&2 pick in the draft, but this game proved it definitely is a lot closer then people like to think
@@Flocktexanshonestly we didn't think our o-line would be this bad, didn't think our run game would be terrible, or wrs wouldn't get separation. I thought we had way more talent tbh but we don't. He's doing the best with what he got. Cj would struggle the same. We overestimated our talent.
Bryce has been getting better and better each week. That should be the Panthers #1 priority THIS year. Make sure Bryce continues to get better, regardless of the wins or the stats. This offseason whether its free agency or the draft they NEED to get better around him. Normally I would say go get a #1 WR (which they should) but with the way that OL has been playing all season, they desperately need help on the OL. It doesn't matter who they get at WR if Tua can't get more than 1secs of protection, it won't make a difference who they have at WR.
