Every major city has areas like this. It's the part of America most people turn a blind eye to. They are often older homes from earlier periods of the city or parts that were segregated in the past and given less funding over the years for development and finances. There is alot of good but the truth is its like that for most major cities everywhere. You have affluent areas, areas and neighborhoods for the middle classes, and places for those that have had the American Dream pass them bye. Cheers to yah and howdy from Texas
That’s the problem. Everyone thinks this is some golden palace and an escape from hell. The truth is, it’s not been that way for decades, and as of lately it IS hell itself. There is no more American dream.
@@jonathanfalvo2414 im sure eternity in the real Hell....be far worst when that day comes if one doesnt make it into heaven through the grace of Jesus Christ
It's like any American City. It's no foreign Country, there are always older poor areas to every major city. It's America to those that don't turn a blind eye to the truth of the world around them.
A slice of heaven fell on earth And we call it Houston the best city on the planet,It dnt get no better then tht And if you from Htown your#BLESSED🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Yeah stay the fuck out the hood lol it’s not hard to work hard and buy your own shit you don’t have to move straight to the hood lol this ain’t shit compared to Little Rock and Memphis this is like Beverly Hills compared to them 😂
Yes, only downside to Houston is honestly you need to be able to drive where you want to go. Most pedestrian paths are an after thought. There are also great communities surrounding the Houston area, if you got cash the Woodlands is my favorite area as it has all the walking and biking paths and is a very modern area with all the amenities. And everything within 30 min. You can boat at lake conroe or pop down to old Town Spring for some unique shopping. H-town is growing and even it has good places to live and work at a reasonable rate. City of Conroe is a little north of that and inside the county of Montgomery. It's one of the absolute fastest growing counties in the US with great homes and so is it's quieter neighbor Willis, Tx . However if you go past Willis, Tx. There isn't to much but college towns and farms till Dallas. Overall Harris County and the surrounding counties are great to live in. Just make sure to check flood maps befor grabbing a home or apartment. Flooding happens ever few years and it's about only drawback along with the drivers 😅 Peace to yah. Overall I'd say Houston a solid place to live but I prefer places Like Galveston, Willis/Conroe area, Woodlands. Lots of great locations and options.
No please we are overcrowded DON’T move here it takes you one hour to get from one side of town to the next residents - “Houston is an hour away from Houston,” 😂😂😂 stay where you at frfr
Houston so big that its hoods everywhere. Most ppl that come to do this always stay in the loop and go to 5th and 3rd ward but theres so many other bad hoods. Sw side, acres homes, homestead, trinity gardens, south park, etc. Even the mexican hoods like denver harbor. Houston is a vast sprawl and one minute you be in a nice neighborhood and the next you be in the hood
This is even worse than a normal hood, there would be more deadly snakes and insects and alligators, if you had to hide in the woods or water it could be the last thing you ever did
So, you go out of your way to film this underprivileged community. Why expose the poor individuals that live there? Have you seen they will be chased out of their own homes with raising taxes and high dollar homes + apts. Where will they go?😢😢😢😢 Everyone is coming to Houston. Those people probably have health issues, and not everyone has a 4.0 GPA for different reasons. I feel sorry for them.
