This one was a little before my time, I had just got my first board from Macy's (A Nash) I was age 11 in 1986.. I spent many days and evenings at Houston skatepark before south side was even built.. I can remember the indoor mini Ramp there it got really crowded on rainy days..
man those steel ramps suck either in the day or at night when the humidity is greatest jeez, especially in houston. this is a texas halfpipe, no matter how high, it will have 2 feet of vert and 3 inch coping
Maybe someone can comment that know more but everyone talk how amazing this ramp was and you can see it wants to launch you high but its eating these pros for lunch.

Gator, Hosoi ,Magnuson,Winkowski 540s are the Best ! Gator Does standard 540 quick ,but it's Gator. He makes them look Good. So you can't compare! Hosoi 540 is Half Delay, somewhat sketchy. Magnuson is Full Delay, very Dangerous,collar Bone Breaking type of shit. Winkowski is now Doing 540 Lean airs and j.p 66 Lean airs. Get your head around that one. What a Freak !
