The United States and the British forces have launched an airstrike targeting Yemen’s largest island in the Red Sea, as per Yemeni media. The strike hit a target on Kamaran Island on July 6 amid rising tensions with the Houthis, as per a report by al-Masirah TV network citing local sources. The US and the UK, both allies of Israel, are yet to comment on the reported airstrike on the Red Sea island. The alleged attack coincided with the "Toophan al-Mudammer" military exercises launched by Yemen’s Houthi rebels on the same day. As part of the drills, the Houthi rebels simulated offensive and defensive manoeuvres against American, British, and Israeli forces, as per Arabic news outlets.
