Took the hover board apart took, the battery strap off and it looks like the battery had come unplugged slightly. Push the plug together completing the connection in the Hoverboard works great.
Battery is accepting charge so the charger is thinking that it’s full and going into green mode, indication is that charger is remaining cold which another word not transmitting or pumping because constantly getting battery full signal. You need to replace the battery.
You need a new battery with these hoverboards they’re made with cheap battery balancers so the battery gets out of balance and one or two of the batteries go bad and it won’t charge
Our did the same. Went to replace battery. Found that the one in there came disconnect. Figuring it rattled off. Plugged it back in. And all work great again
Battery is located on the other side charging port . Just open it with screw and try to buy a new battery . If u can’t find , u will be able to buy it on manufacturing factory of your hover board
Hey there, mine had the same problems. What I suggest you to do is, buy a new battery and try. To put the battery which is always on the opposite side it the plugin side, you need to open it.
Ok i had the same problem so i went in the power button side removed panel, disconnected battery plug and put a piece of insulated wire into each side of the battery plug. I tested for voltage and found that battery only had .9 v so i used a car battery charger on lowest 12v setting for 8 minutes then discounted car charger it now has 2.3v and plugged battery back the way i found it rapidly plugging in hoverboard charger. The charging box now has red light indicating it's sending a charge 3 hours later it was full charge. Most charging systems won't send a charge if battery sat too long and falls below a certain number of volts. You need to juice the battery back up until charger can recognize battery voltage.

I had to return my to Walmart too. They ended up selling out and I had to order a new one to be delivered on wensday. So yeah they suck the big one for not having their stock up for the holidays. Lol
My hover board has the same problem :) all you do is buy a new battery . The battery is going bad or is bad so buy a new battery and it will help :) this happens when the hoverboard is sitting in the cold or 6-12 of use
I just got my son the Jetson Rave hover board and its doing the same thing. If I can't get the charger to charge it I will try replacing the charger. If that won't work ill either take it back to the store or sling it over a bridge and into the bay. Lol
So I didn't have a stronger charger to trick the battery into charging the other hoverboard has a smaller setup. I watched a video where a guy used a stronger charger to get the battery to charge so I really wanted to try it but didn't have anything stronger to charge with. So back to Walmart it went and we ordered another one and it will be here by wensday. You'd think at $198 there wouldn't be any issues with a battery in a hoverboard, but I guess the industry is still trying to get all the bugs worked out.
I have a problem on my hoverboard which I was trying to find for a long time but still nothing. The problem is that when I turn the hoverboard on while its not charging there is a orange flashing light on the battery indicator the hoverboard is not even charging and there a orange flashing light and then the hoverboard does not allow me to ride it
Bought mine few days ago it is charging for nearly 4 hours and the battery hasn’t change from red to green yet . When I turn the hoverboard the lights still blinks orange. Does anyone know if I should let it charging . I do few so worried but I’m checking battery all the time in case it’s overheating.

This is a FAULTY BATTERY Issue... It happens when a board has been sat around for years (in factory or warehouse) ...Battery has depleted to a level, that it will no-longer charge. ....Battery Needs to be Replaced!!!!
Dose it need to be replaced replaced or can you unplug it and plug it again and it will work ?? Because I had mines for about 2 to 3 years and let us there for 1 or 2 years there because I didn’t use it and I want to but it don’t work and blinks orange.
@@angiegomez915 *FULLY REPLACED! (as in, Buy a new battery)* ...unplugging/replugging, sadly, won't make a difference! ...It is not a 'Connection' issue, it is the Cells within the battery, they have depleted to such a level, that it will no-longer take/hold a Charge.
Hey this might work but plug it in turn it on leave it for 30 minutes then still leave it on but unplug it and then try and ride off with it until it cuts off then plug it back up then turn on and then right around 8 and should it should right work
