Considering that genshin was able to implement dendro 2 years after the game started and was well received, maybe star rail could do the same and add another path like propagation where the path revolves around the master and summon, the fact we had an event like this(the trash cans in belobog) would imply they're testing the waters already!

New path would be too bad for existing players, maybe some new mechanics like what you said would be soo good for our lightning lord. Similar to like how we got superbreak few patches back
Why are people so against a new path? Who cares if at first you don’t have lc’s, they could put one in Herta store, one in an event, one or two in the endgame shop and there we have 4, while getting more over time. They could also make a banner with most of the rate up LC’s being of the new path.
Won't be happening, unless the 4 pcs effect said something like - When Lightning-Lord's Hits Per Action reach a max of 10, Lightning Lord's action is Advanced Forward by 100% and get increased follow up damage by 75%.
Honestly, his damage is fine, his problem is how slow he is waiting for LL to act. Even at 10 stacks it takes forever to come up and there's no way to advance it any further
About first planar set, where characters positioning matter, I can surely see theoretically an enemy who will mess up with your lineup. Another possible outcome is that some positions will have some threat, like Damocles sword idk, for certain characters based on their paths/type

Glad I don't have to farm it yet. Looking forward to seeing where it goes in 3.0 though, summon stuff sounds fun. Always enjoyed watching JY Thunderlord moving up the positions knowing the "god hammer" moment was coming.
If lightning lord was able to act the moment it has ten stacks that would be a gigantic improvement. Getting to ten stacks with Bronya/sparkle support is very easy. Every 2 turns. But LL is so slow that it takes 3 turns to act even with fast stack building.

Duran is still better for topaz considering it buffs her follow up dmg which is all her dmg and gives crit dmg meanwhile all the new set does is give too much cd which topaz doesn’t need as her ult gives it and you should be using a crit dmg body
I like this sort of position matters artifacts, reminds me of Reverse 1999 some characters effects do different things based on which position theyare in.
@@HazZzel- Right now I think there is only August. IN CN servers they are ahead and think they added 2 or 3 more. his is people in front get damage bonus and behind get like damage reduction I think.
the problem with JY isn't his damage.. he has ALWAYS been able to do ridiculous amounts the problem is LL being so slow that other units are able to outdamage him by moving multiple times before LL gets a turn so it doesn't matter how much they retroactively buff his dmg with new planars, relics or licghtcones if they don't release a unit that can action forward LL he will STILL remain mid
There are actually multiple issues with JY. 1) Most of his damage comes from the LL, which means he doesn't benefit as much from Harmony buffers. 2) Any crowd control on JY eliminates the LL damage for that round. 3) You can't trigger the LL multiple times, so his damage is artificially hard capped. The quickest and easiest fix to JY would be to trigger the LL's attack every time it reaches 10 stacks.
Honestly, yeah. Imagine if Banana effect with summon would be moving forward your summoned unit action by 20% whenever wearer takes an action. Useless for Topaz, given how often Numby attacks, but could be really awesome for JY, maybe even making Bronya/Sparke his best supports.
I think they actually buffed Jing Yuan once by making left over stacks of his ll carry between rounds if he defeated enemies They might actually fix ll properly one day
It's great, especially for sustains, but it can become finicky if you need to start hunting for eff res substats on your other supports, on top of spd and the other stat they desire. Units like Aventurine solve this by sharing eff res, but that locks you into one team comp. It's happened to me more than once that I discovered my broken keel support wasn't meeting the 30% eff res threshold.
I pulled Robin yesterday, quickly farmed the SU for these relics, and right away got an attack orb with speed and two energy ropes. Slapped it on Robin so hard there was recoil
I would love if more summon characters like Topaz came out. Topaz has been my fav since release and a big part of it is how much I love Numby, we need more chars with pets 🙏
I feel like the Banana set would be a bit better if it gave crit rate, and then crit dmg for characters with summons since the only external crit rate buffs that come to mind are Fu Xuan, Yukong and Sparkle's cone. But hey, at least the secondary set sounds somewhat flexible and us Jing Yuan gamers won't have to farm Salsotto to get all legendary dps pieces on Belobog instead anymore.
I loved the battle mechanic in Golden Sun 2 where you had a party of 8 and you could swap them in and out into different positions - I would love to see the meta for that type of new endgame mode. Could do some crazy things with turn orders, and maybe nerf some Harmony units who give unit buffs in favor of zones and debuffs. And it would be cool to launch 8 different Ultimates in a row. Perhaps we'll see enemies that can scramble positions, and this could be changed for Svarog, Death, and any other enemies that "take" allies temporarily.
Hoyo always foreshadow new mechanics with some event. This time we had trashcan buddies, even before the artifact hint. So indeed, soon they are going to release a unit that can summon some minions in our side of the field (maybe even on the enemy side)
i'm surprised DoT wasn't brought up for the lukasha set bc i was thinking of giving it to robin/ruan mei and luocha to buff kafka - not that i plan to farm any new planars atm.
Works for them yeah, but Fleet is dual DPS so youd use it for the energy on top for Robin /Ruan, but Luocha has no 5% rotations afaik, still fine though
According to the dream I had. They're changing how the code for some buffs works. "Allies" wide buffs are getting replaced for two different effects. "Party" and "Team" One is for all 4 characters you're using and the other for teammates and their summons (I'm not too sure which is which or if the wording is correct, but you get the point). Robin's concerto state, for example, will only work with the characters getting fast forwarded, not the summons. Bronya's Belobog March will work in both characters and summons. This is just an example of how buffs are being treated rn. My best bet is that Lukasha set, is going to affect the first lineup character for both character and summon, and Herta Space Station is for just the characters.
Heh, I’ve played HSR from day 1. And I think I have been farming something for Jing Yuan ever since. When ever there’s a lull on building new characters, there’s the constant hunt for slightly better JY relics 😅
I can only really see Lushaka getting some value for Robin. Since she has a mini-vonwacq in-built in her kit, she may not need the extra 40% advance forward. Depends on the situation, though. The extra 12% atk buff might just be a decent extra addition because it could be the difference maker especially for the 0-cyclers gang. But specific setups still want Vonwacq especially 0-cycles, so I can't be sure.
wardance event gives position based buffs in some stages, couple that with the trashcan event and we kinda have a rough idea on what newer units will be like
Would've loved the new 5% energy buff... if it wasn't the first slot. I hate cornering my Clara so she's more likely to get cleaved if her taunt fails.
I'll wait for like 20 new sets to release, because then the "2% increase over previous BiS" will stack up to something more statistically meaningful than substat fluctuation. Also I cannot believe they dethroned the original banana set (Sigonia) this quickly, fruit powercreep is out of control, unplayable
It definitely feels like these new sets are getting is up for the next big meta release. We got the set for yunli before she was released and it seemed odd. Now it’s clearly BiS for her, I can see the same coming with our next major DPS release (not including rappa).
Yea I was thinking that the next 5 star harmony would play around the summon mechanic. Something like advancing summons like lightning lord or something on ult would be cool
Lushaka really turning the FART meme into RAFT because you can super buff Robin by putting her first, giving her the ATK boost so she gets maximum value on her kit while speeding up Topaz's energy regen for maximum ult uptime.
i just got a 0 cycle on the first half with E0S0 Feixiao thanks to the new ERR planar on robin, I just needed a bit more damage(Kafka was at 1% in one of the runs), and i needed the ERR on robin for an ult right after Feixaos first action. Also, Feixiao is broken, Acheron without her signature lightcone isn't even close.
From the grapevine, I'd wait to have someone check that that summon set works on Topaz and JingYuan before farming it - I've heard voices claim Numby and LL don't count as summons for some reason.
I'll farm banana for topaz since i dont have her yet and just barely got good duran ones for jade (who i plan to e1 and pair w topaz). it'll be a good set to tide me over and then maybe go back to duran at a later time once i get main relics w good crit
I’ve been hoping for a true “summoner” type character and I assume they will release a gear set to go along with the banana planar set. But we’ll see… Fate has some really cool characters that would be neat to have added to the roster but I’m not getting my hopes up too much. Hopefully we at least get an Unlimited Blade Works ultimate and maybe the character could summon multiple weapons that are added to the turn order 🤷🏼
The new Lushaka set seems fun to use on the March Hunt Hypercarry team, Specifically Hunt March, Gallagher, Bronya, and Robin. So basically a very hard hitting crit March goated on damage percent and soaking up even more atk bonus sources, all you ever need on this team is a great crit rate and ratio on her and massive amounts of speed both on her and Gallagher.
There's also the incentive to farm the sets for future units too so it isn't all bad, this looks like it's setting up quite characters in the future, whether we get them or not, having some spares in the inventory isn't bad.
I think it is nice to ahv new sets since I pretty much have ost characters on a decent 2 pc planar even if its not the most optimal choice.Ill be farming it but Im just going to collect decent pieces and wait
Do the party list summons count? I was assuming this was in preparation for characters who actually summon something onto the field, like the trashcan event.
One day my Jing Yuan’s build will be complete, and then you’ll all regret calling him Mid Yuan. But for now, let’s get back to farming another set for him 💀
Another downside of Lushaka is that your fav character might not be placed to show their best angle anymore :') Anyways is it not viable for Jiaoqiu in an Acheron team? I know you want vonwacq for the action advance but I find his speed easy enough to invest in to put him first in the turn order irregardless.
Lushaka definitely needs time to cook. It’s really tempting for RM, but she still wants to go first in a party typically so she can ult before the damage dealers go, so you’d need to make sure she has enough speed substats on top of her strict BE requirements. Tingyun is in a similar situation so she can skill first, although she at least has lighter stat reqs. The set is really waiting for a hypercarry (who isn’t over saturated in atk buffs) or break support that have action advance baked into their kit AND the extra 5% eases their rotations. That’s a pretty strict set of conditions for it’s ideal character.
